The location is great. From the terrace in front of the room, there's a beautiful view of Matera.

Great location. Very quiet. Clean rooms and obviously very fresh. Breakfast was average, nothing exceptional but you have to consider that it is not a 4 star so it is fine

It's a great way to experience living in a cave! If you're in Matera, it's a great place. It's well-staffed, clean, and has a good breakfast! It might be a bit difficult to get to, but with the help of Google Maps, you can get there.

Lovely, clean room. In the center of the Sassi di Barisano with a breathtaking view. Even though it was a cave without windows there was no smell of humidity. Mr. Vincenzo was an exquisite person.

14/08/2025: We stumbled upon this pub by chance on our way back from a vacation in Maratea. The place seemed very welcoming, with a large outdoor area and well-spaced tables. Excellent food and a very good selection of beers. The Angus burger, pictured below, is high-quality. Fair prices, highly recommended.

23/07/2025: We ate at the outdoor tables, a pleasant atmosphere, spectacular fried anchovies, cruschi peppers, and a super black sandwich with octopus! The girl at the tagoli was lovely.
19/04/2025: This evening I tasted the best fish sandwich of my entire life! The black bun has everything: crunchiness, balanced flavor, color contrasts that enhance a unique and unforgettable explosion of flavors!
