We stumbled upon this restaurant in the Michelin guide, and stopped for dinner. Excellent wine selection, impeccable service, and very quiet outdoor seating with a sea view. The sea urchin pasta is a must, and the main courses are also delicious. In addition to the à la carte menu, there's a tasting menu, as well as some off-menu options based on the catch of the day.

Delightful evening warmly welcomed by the management of Sale Grosso though I didn’t have a reservation , and guided through the menu by experienced chief waiter and waitress. Had pink shrimps salad as an appetiser followed by monkfish braised in the oven with a fantastically good accompaniment of wild mushrooms and their cooking broth to be had before starting the fish. For dessert, I closed with an inventive Pavlova with peers and their cooking sauce that was something one would die for. Bravo!!!

Every time I pass through Marciana Marina, a stop at Salegrosso is a must.
Cristiano always welcomes you with great attention and professionalism, making you feel like a special guest.
The tasting menu is truly top-notch, with attention to every detail, balanced dishes, and meticulously presented.
The raw seafood is one of the restaurant's highlights: incredibly fresh, refined, and always surprising.
The desserts also deserve a special mention: they round off the gastronomic experience perfectly.
A restaurant that combines quality, passion, and impeccable service.

Excellent cuisine, a menu that's not as extensive as it should be for the quality, and modern techniques that don't overwhelm or overwhelm the dish. Excellent ingredients. More than courteous service. Nice wines. We tried a phenomenal spaghetti with sea urchins and dried seaweed, which really brought out the seafood flavor and balanced the sweetness of the sea urchin. The amberjack cooked in a slow-cooked sauce with an eggplant mousse and an excellent fish stock reduction was truly delicious. When it came to coffee, the restaurant once again proved to be a winner with a quality blend.

Locale curato, lo staff molto cortese, posto tranquillo dove passare una magnifica giornata. I piatti sono molto curati, belli da vedere, gustosi da mangiare,nbuona la materia prima, ottima esperienza. Ottimo il dessert. Consifliato
