Saccargia is a guarantee. Known throughout Sardinia as a "sure-fire" restaurant, if you want to make a good impression, go there. The entire menu is always top-notch, and the wait staff is always available to please. The bathrooms are well-organized and always clean. Enormous parking. Located on the hill overlooking the Basilica.

A must-see during our summer holidays. We've known this place since the days when the restaurant was located in Ploaghe. We must say that the quality has remained the same over time, with a truly remarkable quality-price ratio. I'd like to point out just one small flaw this year: the grilled meat was served lukewarm, a situation that was caused by the presence of a large table with fish dishes that were served repeatedly, which obviously monopolized the waiting staff and probably the kitchen as well. The quality of the product served to us was excellent, but we repeat, we would have appreciated it more if it had been served hot. Good luck!

The food is truly top-notch...with a wide selection of dishes suitable for celiacs (like the fried calamari) and those with lactose intolerance, and a wide variety of desserts suitable for those with both dietary restrictions, like me. We'll definitely be back.

07/12/2025: A must-see if you're visiting Castelsardo, ideal for an aperitivo overlooking the sea after a day at the beach or visiting the castle. Here you can order a drink and a nice charcuterie board or pizza and enjoy a spectacular sunset. Highly recommended!
19/11/2025: A place with spectacular views, I love the light that illuminates the Castelsardo coast. The staff is informative, friendly, and their smiles warm your heart. The mixed fried vegetables are a real treat, with fried vegetables that at first glance look like French fries, but the wonderful surprise is that they are local vegetables bursting with flavor. The local charcuterie has a harmonious and robust regional flavor. They explain how to dip Sardinian bread in extra virgin olive oil, which reveals its fruity notes in every bite, bringing you closer to heaven.
