An authentic, no-frills place, which is a rarity in Milan these days. The raw fish is incredibly fresh, along with fregola and culurgiones (a type of pasta made with sesame seeds). The flaked bottarga is excellent. The homemade bitters deserve a special mention, especially the cinnamon one.

The price is high for the quality of the food, especially the hard, bad bread....it's a shame, as I love Sardinia.

At Sa Mesa, we ate truly excellent traditional Sardinian dishes made with quality ingredients. The waiter was truly courteous and friendly. The bill was a bit pricey, but all in all, it was worth it.

I've seen some misleading reviews about the pork and the price. Let me say that I need to be sensible before writing this.
For my part, I've always enjoyed sa mesa for over 20 years.
The atmosphere is friendly and the products are excellent.
The price is reasonable for what you order.
