Simple and genuine menu, in line with prices, courteous staff but the speed of service needs to be improved

A very beautiful and quiet place, right in the garden courtyard, the food is delicious, the fish is fresh and the price is reasonable, the owners are very attentive and friendly, the dinner was at a high level, I definitely recommend everyone to stop by for dinner at this wonderful family restaurant!!!

Dining at the Rustico is not just about savoring Sicilian cuisine as it should be, traditional, with real flavours, colorful on the plate and tasty on the palate. Dining at the Rustico also means having the honor of knowing the story of two brothers who for 50 years have believed in genuine hospitality, which does not need to follow culinary trends to offer the customer a memory to take with them

Ci sono recensioni che si scrivono con la testa, per parlare del Rustico bisogna invece usare il cuore. I due fratelli gestori del ristorante sono due siciliani asciutti, depositari di tradizione e memoria storica, tali da sembrare nati in una novella di Verga o Pirandello. Conducono il ristorante con amore e senza fronzoli, senza l’inutile e molesta innovazione che sembra debba essere il leit motiv della ristorazione odierna. Cucinano, come cucinerebbe vostra nonna o vostra madre, piatti semplici e genuini, con materiale fresco e di qualità, senza cedere all’impiattamento ruffiano. Anche il pane è artigianale e viene servito intero, non ridotto a 2-3 tristi fettine come capita sempre. I prezzi sono più che onesti. Grazie per la bella esperienza.

Family run restaurant, run by two very nice brothers. The fish is cooked very well

We were guests of the owners of this restaurant last week and it was an unexpected experience. The professor and his brother are kind and generous people. We appreciated every dish they offered us. We hope to see each other again even if the distance is enormous! Thank you for the passion you put into it!

Un posto bellissimo di altri tempi..il professore e suo fratello sono persone cordiali e dolcissime!! La cucina ottima dal vero sapore genuino ad un prezzo più che onesto!! Assolutamente da non mancare se lo avessi scoperto prima sarei andata tutti i giorni della mia permanenza ad Avola!! Per me il posto migliore in assoluto dove si trova ancora il gusto della vera Sicilia!!

A journey through flavor and time ❤ As soon as I stepped into the Rustico Restaurant, I felt like I was entering my grandparents' living room. The simple but cozy atmosphere, the retro decor and the delicious smells coming from the kitchen all contributed to this feeling. The owners, two brothers who are also two pieces of history, welcomed me with open arms and made me feel at ease, to the point that I feel like they are a little like my grandparents. The food? simple and exquisite. Each dish is simple but prepared with love and care, using fresh, zero-mile ingredients. From the appetizers (space) to the first courses to the second courses, every bite was a pleasure. The price? Super honest! It's difficult to find better value for money than this. But what made the experience truly special were the two grandparents: they told me stories of their childhood, of their jobs, of Avola and even shared some tricks from their family recipes. It was like having a conversation with distant relatives. In short, Ristorante Rustico is the name on the door, but for me it will always be "the living room". Finally an authentic and sincere place that can truly be considered Sicily.

Very good steak. The crastuna, they deserve!!
