I've been going to this place for years now... Always very kind. All the waiters are very friendly. Simple Roman food, even pizza. Everything is excellent.

Best carbonara we had in town (and we tried it five times! 😄). Great service, but it can get busy – we saw people waiting in line, although we got there an hour earlier and didn’t have to wait.

Typical, excellent cuisine. Friendly, helpful staff. Advance reservations are recommended, especially on weekends. Just steps from St. Peter's Square.

Locale a due passi da San Pietro, in edificio storico. Una moderna trattoria. I piatti sono eccellenti, carbonara, gricia, polpette al sugo tenerissime. Servizio veloce e personale molto cordiale. Assolutamente da suggerire per piatti tipici romani.

18/09/2025: Nice local restaurant vibe. Good food and friendly service. We enjoyed our evening there. Would definitely go again. There were mostly locals there I believe with some tourists mixed in. The pasta portions were maybe a bit smaller than what we got at other restaurants but that meant we were able to order the second course of meatballs and sausage. We were happy with the house red wine (1 bottle = 0,75l = 10€). Highly recommend. 2 starter + 2 pasta + 2 main + 1 bottle house red wine = 57€
16/09/2025: If you are not in a rush (service can bw a bit slow) and you wamt great, cheap homemade food in a local atmosphere, this is the place you. want to go to. Next but a bit outside Traversere, it is not touristy and really worth a try.
