Ristorante Roma In Taggia

Tried as a restaurant not as a hotel at the end of July. Room completely redone, air conditioned, large, excellent food, fantastic pinsa and very good pizza. An honorable mention for the "tonnarelli" pasta with condiments such as gricia, truly delicious.

Pleasant environment, but above all courtesy, cleanliness, good food and friendliness reign, all characteristics that are not so easy to find nowadays.

Excellent value for money for the rooms, but the restaurant is absolutely exceptional. I am Roman and I can say that the cuisine is superior even to that of many restaurants in the capital. A special note to the fish: the true flavor of the catch cooked masterfully. We'll be back.

We had a great time at this hotel. Maybe the rooms are a little dated but as a beach hotel it's fine. Then the rooms were super clean! Really. The highlight of this hotel is the restaurant. Excellent quality cuisine, well-prepared and tasty dishes! Refined restaurant atmosphere and impeccable service. This will certainly be our reference hotel in Arma di Taggia and we will definitely return.

We did not stay at the hotel but had dinner at the restaurant. What a nice surprise ! Neat decoration, top waiters and very good cuisine. We had 2 pizzas for an aperitif and pasta and fritto misto for main courses, everything was very good and reasonable prices. We will come back !!

MANAGEMENT CHANGE I was at the Roma restaurant last night. I've been frequenting the place for years. For those like me who expect the "Roma" they have known for years, they are certainly taken aback. The environment is completely different, with refined and new furnishings. Let's get to the heart of the matter. The mood has totally changed. The food is of good quality and workmanship, there were 5 of us and we consumed 2 portions of fried anchovies, excellent, 1 portion of spaghetti with clams, good with clams, 2 mixed fried dishes: calamari and mixed fish, no prawns, 1 fried dish only calamari (apparently all fresh), and well-packaged Milanese cutlet on the bone and 2 sides of fried potatoes. No wine, no sweets. Friendly and attentive service, still a bit of work in progress: dishes arrived a little late: side dishes arrived after we had practically finished the main courses. Place not very full. (as we were used to in the past). The slightly sore point is the price. For this reason we spent, with a slight discount, 34 euros each, perhaps a little expensive despite the quality. Even the prices of pizza and pinza are a little above average So some advice to the owners. "Roma" was a renowned place in the north-west (buses also left from my city for lunch trips) because they ate good fish at affordable prices. Changing the policy in this way could be a not so productive choice (a dinner with starters, first courses, second courses, desserts and wine exceeds 70 euros per capita). The service when the place is not full needs to be improved, previously it was fast, attentive and punctual. I hope that Roma will become a point of reference again but if the prices remain like this I'm afraid I won't return.

Ho alloggiato per una notte al costo di € 60 compresa la colazione. Ho deciso di cenare lì: coperto € 3, acqua 75 cl € 3, grigliata di pesce € 30, patate al forno € 6, tiramisù € 7. Stanza pulita, non adatto per chi ha problemi deambulatori in quanto le stanze sono al 1 e 2 piano con scale ripide, ma senza ascensore. La colazione molto buona. Per il ristorante: tutto molto buono, unica “pecca” le patate che erano fredde. Personale molto gentile, disponibile e cortese. Consigliato sia per Hotel che per ristorante

Ristorante molto buono con una scelta di piatti molto vasta . Anche la pizza è molto buona. Ci siamo andati diverse volte e ci torneremo sicuramente!
