A small restaurant with a lovely atmosphere, a terracotta-vaulted space in the historic center of Rovere. The service, despite the owner being alone, was incredibly fast and top-notch. The food was truly excellent, no matter what you ordered. Congratulations, it was truly a wonderful discovery.

A somewhat hidden restaurant in the upper part of town. The interior is beautiful, with a vaulted ceiling and lots of stone. A good dinner at a fair price. Quite quiet. A pleasant evening.

If you're looking for an intimate restaurant in a picturesque, ancient village, where you'll feel warmly welcomed and enjoy a satisfying meal, this is absolutely the place for you. This isn't a review from a fake profile or a relative/friend of the owner; in fact, it's my first review ever, and I really want to share it with this Taverna because it deserves it. The gentleman who welcomed us was incredibly kind, a rare thing these days, and he goes out of his way to divide his time between the dining room and the kitchen (I visited in mid-November). The Taverna is located on the ground floor of a historic farmhouse renovated while maintaining the characteristic features of the place. The dining room is small, but it immediately conveys a sense of warmth, as if you were in a beautiful cellar. The ingredients are local and authentic, and you can taste it right away... you simply must try the exquisite risottos on offer. We tried the Montepulciano and Gorgonzola and the saffron and sausage risotto (outstanding!), but the menu offers much more, including excellent meats. The price couldn't be more fair. This is exactly the kind of business you'd want to invest in. The only thing to keep in mind: It's not well signposted, so you shouldn't follow your car's GPS. My advice (knowing the town) is to leave your car in Piazza di Rovere and walk up the short hill (max. 5 minutes) because the tavern is located on one of the narrow streets in the historic part of the village. The location indicated on Google Maps is absolutely correct, and when you arrive, you'll see a glass door and a bell. Just ring and wait a few seconds to be greeted. P.S. If no one opens the door for a few minutes, don't assume it's closed! It's simply the man who might be in the kitchen. However, I strongly recommend making a reservation.
