The evening meal was very good. The staff were nice and friendly. The only thing that was expensive was the €2.50 cover charge per person, but unfortunately, that's typical Italian.

Lovely recently renovated hotel just a short walk from lake Lugano. I am in a car but can’t wait to comeback with my motorbike in September, has good parking and a great restaurant. Also, one of the staff Luca, helped me translate Italian at a local place after I ran into difficulty - LEGEND - Thanks Luca 🎉 Absolutely advise anyone coming through to stay here!

Very good Neapolitan style pizza. Lactose-free mozzarella is also available, this is excellent! Friendly waiters. The place is nothing special, the room is very large.

My parents stayed there for 2 nights for the Easter holidays and the hotel looks good with a beautiful, very large restaurant room and renovated rooms. The food is good although the breakfast, although varied, could have more homemade products to be the best. Ample parking available for guests.

Dopo diversi anni sono tornato qui per un pranzo a base di pesce. Come antipasto ho preso il loro tris di mare: 2 fette di toast con una fetta di salmone, una conchiglia con dentro insalata di mare e una conchiglia con dentro cocktail di gamberetti alla salsa rosa: niente di speciale. Come piatto principale ho preso risotto con 2 fette impanate di pesce persico: il pesce buono ma il risotto insipido e insaporito, per fortuna che sul tavolo c'era il formaggio grattugiato. Buon vino bianco della casa e ho pagato 35 €. Buon servizio.

13/08/2025: I visited this trattoria "Ristoro" in Caslino d'Erba again with a group of friends, and everyone was completely satisfied: the paccheri allo scoglio were exquisite, with a very balanced flavor; the grilled fish was sublime; the fried lake fish had an authentic and unforgettable flavor; and the swordfish carpaccio was delicious. A word about the desserts is a must: the corn cake with apples and figs, the torta paesana, and the chocolate salami were delicious. The result was that everyone enjoyed every course. The prices are definitely fair for the quality of the food. The service was simple, attentive, and very friendly and helpful. Definitely worth trying and frequenting! We'll definitely be back!
