The refuge is welcoming both for eating and sleeping. You sleep well and eat well. Cozy rooms, not too large, and several bathrooms with shower. The managers are very nice and helpful. Beautiful view and the beech forest around is also very beautiful. You just have to remember that even though it's an hour from the beach, it's a mountain retreat. It is not a farmhouse, nor a hotel. In short, leave the demands on the Riviera. A great place to stop. I will definitely come back.

After years we returned. Happily surprised by excellent and friendly management and excellent food, considering it is a mountain refuge.

Clearly it is a refuge on the mountain and not a 5 star hotel. Apart from this, the managers are exquisite. Excellent cleanliness, excellent and healthy food, all homemade. Breathtaking view. Peace and tranquility..... A real lust. Definitely worth doing again

Stunning location We were there for lunch The focaccia from Recco is amazing Too bad the industrial ravioli and polenta were not good at all with a mushroom sauce served lukewarm. We left the two plates of ravioli that we ordered there and no one asked us why we hadn't eaten them (obviously they were both added to the bill). We ordered a sparkling mineral water and a carafe of tap water They brought us two jugs of microfiltered water which we were both charged for. To return only for the focaccia di Recco.
