A true gem in the Langhe! A balanced blend of historic residence, modern amenities, and meticulous customer service! Excellent cuisine, 180-degree views of the Langhe, with some tables even located in the adjacent park (in the summer). A superb location (and restaurant) for the usual, well-known names in the Langhe. The property is one of the historic structures and charming hotels that no one would ever imagine finding in VERDUNO. Enjoy your stay and enjoy a relaxing stay!

I just spent a one-night stay at this charming Hotel Diffuso with several annexes surrounded by greenery. It's tastefully and elegantly furnished. The restaurant is also excellent, and they even offered a revisited spinach risotto for a vegan friend. The plum sorbet is sublime. The hazelnut cake is the perfect zabaglione. Dogs are welcome and treated very well. The atmosphere is family-friendly... you feel at home. Highly recommended! The breakfast was also excellent, with local products and everything homemade.

We enjoyed our stay! We booked one night but ended up staying three. The surroundings are beautiful! The hotel is in a great location, right in the village center. We had a room with a balcony, and there are plenty of places to sit in the garden. Breakfast was good. We also had dinner once, which was excellent, with, of course, a fantastic view.

The ambiance is stylish, elegant, and thought through down to the last detail – a place that invites you to enjoy yourself. Price Range & Service The restaurant's prices are in the upper range – which generally matches the setting. The service was friendly, but overall not up to the expected level for this price category. Minor inattention and a lack of sensitivity when dealing with complaints somewhat marred the overall impression. Appetizers • Tongue: Surprisingly finely prepared, tender, and flavorfully balanced – a successful start. • Tomato soup: Pleasantly warm, very aromatic – a clear recommendation. Cold Dishes The cold appetizers impressed with their quality, freshness, and attractive presentation. Main Course – Veal Fillet Unfortunately, a low point of the evening: The veal fillet was disappointing in both texture and flavor – flimsy in places, unevenly cooked, and served without truffles, contrary to the menu. Only after a follow-up inquiry did the kitchen respond with a brief response – without any real apology. At least the house did not charge for one portion of the veal fillet, which somewhat defused the situation. Nevertheless, more leniency or at least genuine regret would have been appropriate for such a lack of quality. Conclusion A stylish restaurant in a unique location with a lot of potential – the ambiance is absolutely convincing. The kitchen demonstrates its talent with the appetizers, but is noticeably weaker with the main course. The service falls short of the venue's standards – polite, but not proactive or particularly attentive. Charming gastronomic hotel in the center of the Langhe. Spartan rooms (and no TV) but with a lot of charm. Exceptional food and wine.
