Ristorante Ravasio - Il Vitigno In Sotto il monte giovanni xxiii

A splendid establishment in the hills near Sotto il Monte, very close to the Turoldi sites. The dining room appears recently renovated, functional, but a bit bland and cold. Typical Bergamo cuisine with bold flavors. The puff pastry with hare ragù was simply delicious. I didn't try my friend's casoncelli, but they looked truly excellent. The braised beef was good, despite the mushroom aftertaste that I thought came from a seasoning. The polenta was also good, but to call it Bergamo-style, I would have preferred it to be a little firmer. The service was kind and attentive despite the crowd of First Communions, and the bill was fair.

I dined at Il Vitigno Restaurant in Sotto il Monte Giovanni XXIII and was very pleased with the food: carefully prepared dishes, quality ingredients, and well-balanced flavors that truly deserve praise. The only flaw of the day was the service: the restaurant was very crowded, and despite the helpful staff, service times were a bit long, and the attention to the table was at times distracted. With a little more organized management on busy days, the experience would have been excellent. Overall, I highly recommend the restaurant for its excellent cuisine and refined atmosphere, ideal for those seeking a quality dinner in the area.
