One of the things that my girls and I like to do, every now and then, is the so-called "gypsy party", which those who have seen the "Amici Miei" film series know quite well. We set off aimlessly and wander around as it comes, without haste. This time the nomadic spirit took us, in a roundabout way, to the Courgnè area, and here we consulted the navigator to recommend a place to refresh ourselves. To say that it went well is an understatement! We were greeted kindly, taken to the table (we had booked half an hour before, just to be on the safe side), and we enjoyed the quiet and relaxed environment, perhaps slightly ageist, but definitely pleasant. The menus arrived immediately, the water took time to order. "Short" menu, as we like it. Traditional Piedmontese dishes, which proved to be excellent in terms of presentation and raw materials. A bottle of delicious Erbaluce, which we didn't finish and which we took home, to finish it calmly. Kind and helpful service (but not servile, fortunately), generous with advice and explanations. Despite the presence of many other people, the place proved to be peaceful and quiet enough to be able to chat amiably with table mates. Excellent desserts and coffee worthy of a pleasant experience. Waiting times and fair prices for the quality of the food and the impeccable service. Well done, we will be back for sure, but this time not "by chance" :-)
