We're on a stop between Caserta and Pescara. Lunchtime, and we stop here. There was no one in the restaurant. After half an hour, three people arrived. The very kind owner welcomed us and showed us to the veranda. The cuisine was simple but tasty. Perhaps I expected the wild boar entree to have a slightly stronger flavor. It was good, but I would have preferred it to be more robust. I'd go back.

I visited this restaurant a while ago and had a pleasant experience. The atmosphere is welcoming and mountainous, although a bit noisy when the place is fully booked. We made a reservation because in high season or on weekends, it's otherwise impossible to find a table. The staff was very welcoming, and the service was prompt. I tried a truly exceptional first course: pasta with artichoke cream, crispy speck, and shaved provolone del Monaco.
The prices are in the medium-high range.

Quiet restaurant, EXCELLENT food, fresh ingredients. The entrees are generously portioned, not skimpy. If there are children at the table, they get priority. (This is not a given.) Average price. We'll definitely be back!

A quiet and easily accessible place, where you can find a table even without a reservation. If the weather permits, it's best to choose the outdoor veranda: the interior is rather dark and unwelcoming. The only drawback of the veranda is the presence of flies, which are decidedly annoying.
As for the food, the offerings are average: adequate but without any particular flair. The dishes don't surprise with their originality, combinations, or intensity of flavors. Everything is rather predictable. Those who prefer more traditional flavors appreciated the maltagliati with lamb ragù and saffron, one of the most successful dishes. The main courses also follow the same style: well-cooked but unmemorable. The desserts are decent, without being outstanding.
The service is rather basic, without much attention to detail or the overall customer experience. Prices are higher than the local average, but they don't offer any obvious added value. Recommended only if other restaurants in the area are full.

A wonderful experience at this little-known restaurant. The dishes are impeccable, both in terms of freshness and the chef's skill in handling the excellent ingredients. A special mention goes to the excellent complete house antipasto.

Appena fuori da Rivisondoli e immerso nella valle c'e il ristorante Quarto del Pozzo.
La vista panoramica già riempie gli occhi, per riempire la pancia fatevi guidare sarete ben consigliati.
Tradizione di prodotti locali cucinati con sapienza e passione.
Affettati e formaggi,anche fritto,sono il giusto avvio per una pausa culinaria.
Ho mangiato uno stinco di agnello al forno saporito e morbido.
Patatine fritte con la buccia,una delizia.
Dolci fatti in casa,come budino e semifreddi.
Un Montepulciano ci ha accompagnato in questa bella esperienza.

Il Quarto del Pozzo è un’ottima scelta se cerchi cucina abruzzese con tocchi creativi in un ambiente rustico, con panorama sulle montagne. È particolarmente indicato per una cena dopo sci o passeggiate, o per famiglie che apprezzano ospitalità genuina. In prezzi però sono meno genuini i primi costano più che al centro di Roma, secondo dovrebbero darsi una ridimensionata!!!
