One of my favorite restaurants in Abruzzo, both after skiing and in summer, when the Cinquemiglia plain becomes a green paradise.
Excellent meat, tasty first courses, excellent service, lots of kindness and lots of small attentions, from the separate pasta for the child to the bowl of water for the dog.
The braised wild boar is literally worthy of applause, the pork ribs melt in your mouth, the desserts are original and well presented; even the house wine, which in many restaurants is a low-quality hardback, is carefully selected, offering an economical product that is worthy of the dishes offered.

I knew the food was good, but I was held back by the probably undeserved reputation of being a rather expensive restaurant. However, I have to change my mind, the prices are now in line with the majority of restaurants in the upper Sangro (perhaps also due to the general increase in restaurant prices in the area...), the quality has confirmed itself as excellent and so has the offer. , despite being in the local culinary tradition, is a little more original than average.
Overall passed, I'll be back!

Sunday lunch (2 adults and 2 children) very positive. A little dated but well-kept environment, excellent location at the foot of Monte Pratello with beautiful views. Not too varied menu, very particular (for children there is always the option of pasta with sauce or grilled slice). We tasted the farrotto (superb), the ravioli with taleggio cheese and cherry tomatoes (very good), the fillet with Jerusalem artichoke and truffle and the lamb shank (both very good).
Medium-high prices, slightly excessive.
But overall a great experience
