Ristorante Puntarella In Roma

We just had dinner at this wonderful restaurant. We sat on the terrace for an aperitif and decided to eat inside... What a great decision! It couldn't have been better. The food, the staff, and especially Raul, a true professional and a lovely person. We will return to Rome and, of course, to this restaurant. 100% recommended.

The food was very decent. The cafe was home-style, but the cuisine was quite high-quality. Good wine selection. The specialty, spaghetti with sea urchins, was delicious.

Five of us had dinner here, finding this restaurant almost by chance on a rainy evening when everything else was packed. The atmosphere was very welcoming and familiar, and the location was beautiful. The traditional Roman first courses were perfect, with exceptional meat and a superb selection of wines. The staff was extremely kind and friendly. The bill was reasonable.

Each year when we come to Rome, this is where we go for the best Amatriciana in this city. The restaurant is very comfortable and the wait staff super attentive.The wine list is very robust and tiramisu delicious. Highly recommended!

I discovered a gem of a restaurant in the heart of Trastevere, and the moment I tasted the food, Anthony Bourdain came to mind. Suddenly I understood exactly why he adored this corner of Rome. Raul, the manager was outstanding, we chatted for a bit & he made us feel completely at home. Thank you for the incredible food and the warm, genuine hospitality. I absolutely love Italy, the people, the energy, and of course, the pasta that never disappoints.
