Ristorante Punta Bianca In Ponza

A restaurant where you eat good, real fish! Not one of the usual restaurants where fish can only be found on the menu and not on the plate. We booked a table for 2, which I think is always a good practice given the very high flow of tourists in Ponza. If you don't book and end up with an empty stomach, it's certainly not the restaurateurs' fault. We ordered a mixed raw fish to split between 2, and 2 tagliatelle with cooked and raw red prawns. All excellent. The fish is of the highest quality and well prepared and presented with truly delicious combinations. The prices are definitely in line with the whole experience, therefore they reflect both the quality of the fish, the tasty dishes and the service. An even more positive note is the service: attentive, precise and extremely kind and courteous. Compliments to the chef for the excellent dishes and to the waiters who made the stay in the restaurant a real pleasure. Absolutely recommended and a must try if you are in Ponza, when we return we will certainly know where to dine.

We had dinner with a mixture of raw fish and two dishes of tagliatelle with three cherry tomatoes and cooked and raw prawns. The quality of the raw material was certainly very high and you could feel it, however the preparations and some combinations were not the best. Even though we hadn't booked, they immediately found us a seat. However, the service was very lacking: the presentation of what made up the mixture of raw meats would have been appreciated as it was not even specified on the menu; furthermore it had been requested to be divided and upon arrival it arrived with only one dish, leaving the mixed tray to be used as the second course. The bill was €97 including two bottles of water and two place settings: this only reflects the quality of the fish and not that of the dishes. Having said that, for us it was a mediocre experience compared to expectations.

Went there some nights ago. We took a table before it was full and the main manager was really kind and made good suggestions as I don’t eat fish or meat. All dishes were very nice and the ambience outside was also elegant. Only small thing is that bread service was refilled without asking a couple of times, charging a high amount for that. The rest was good.

Exquisite food, staff super attentive to detail, prices which are normal for a small island.

We had an excellent meal at Punta Bianca. The dentice tar tar was divine and the tuna was to die for! Excellent wine recommendations from the waiter.

Excellent fish dishes, we ate spaghetti with fish sauce, local grass pea soup and mussels and sautéed escarole. Average quality/price ratio for the center of Ponza. Excellent location on the shopping street. Advised!

Excellent restaurant in the center of Ponza. Simple but refined open kitchen with excellent raw materials. We ate a very fresh baked pezogna cooked perfectly. The desserts are also excellent. Average prices. Advised. S.C.

Excellent restaurant with good service and dishes that are as unique as they are good. Prices are slightly high but the mandatory surcharge must be considered as it is on an island.

Excellent and refined restaurant in beautiful Ponza. It serves traditional dishes revisited in a gourmet key. Very fresh fish, attentive and friendly service. If we return to Ponza we would like to visit this place again. In the meantime, we highly recommend it
