Simple, all seafood-based dishes, but flavorful and high-quality. We ordered an appetizer that included all the appetizers and found our table filled with deliciousness! Then came the calamarata and the tagliolini with lemon and sea bream. Everything excellent! Finally, a portion of profiteroles. We were truly satisfied with our choice. The girl who served us was very good!

I waited for seven friends of mine who were coming from out of town on motorcycles, so eight of us, with only me, who knew Terracina and wanted to avoid the restaurants along the seafront, which were packed on this beautiful, sunny Sunday, or the more popular, but also more expensive, ones in the streets of the lower town. I opted for this small, well-kept trattoria. It's comfortable in a space that's not overly large but not cramped either, just the right distance from neighboring tables. We ordered four appetizers for two, including a long list of appetizers, all delicious. Then the first courses included scialatielli allo scoglio, tagliolini, spaghetti with clams, calamarata, and the second courses included side dishes, mixed grill, mixed fried fish, etc., and water, plus a Pinot Grigio and coffee for everyone. And I'd like to emphasize the friendliness, helpfulness, and kindness of the staff, who were extremely kind and helpful, even cleaning and deboning the fish for those who didn't know how to do it themselves. €56 per person....we had a great time and with all the food being so good, I couldn't have made a better choice.

I ate at La Taverna di Ciacco during a stroll through Terracina's historic center, and I must say it was a truly interesting discovery, albeit with a few ups and downs. The restaurant is somewhat hidden among the alleys, so you have to look for it, but this very location gives it a special charm. As soon as I entered, I found the space small and cozy, very intimate and welcoming, almost like being at someone's home. The atmosphere is quiet and relaxed, ideal for a leisurely dinner. The service immediately struck me as friendly: the staff is kind and helpful, ready to explain the dishes and recommend what to order. It's not formal service, but that makes it more authentic and down-to-earth. As for the food, you can taste the fresh, high-quality ingredients. I tried the fish dishes and I must say the flavors were well-balanced and refined, without being too heavy. I was particularly impressed by the seafood starters: tasty yet delicate. The fried foods were also delicious and well-prepared. I also liked the fact that the menu isn't terribly long: few choices, but thoughtfully chosen, which usually means greater attention to detail. That said, there are some areas that could be improved. The place is really small, so it can feel a bit cramped when full, and sometimes you feel like you're too close to other tables. Furthermore, the prices aren't particularly low compared to the portions, which I found a bit small in some cases. Overall, however, my experience was positive: it's one of those places that focuses more on quality and atmosphere than quantity. I would recommend it especially to those looking for a quiet dinner, with carefully prepared dishes and a family atmosphere, perhaps away from the chaos of seaside restaurants.
