I've been to Fattoria Il Pulcino twice in just a few days, the first with my company for an event with over 80 guests from various countries—Japan, Germany, the United States, Peru, and England—and the second on my own.
During the company experience, we participated in a wonderful pasta-making workshop, led with care and kindness, followed by a pleasant, well-organized, and excellent dinner.
When I returned privately, I was able to appreciate the quality of the cuisine even more: truly excellent meats, cured meats, and cheeses, accompanied by good wine. I also visited the shop, where I purchased two truly extraordinary pecorino cheeses (one with truffle and one with pears).
You can sense the owners' great attention to hospitality, tradition, and connection to the local area. I also found it wonderful to see how local schools are involved in their small artisanal projects. An authentic, well-kept, and welcoming place, definitely worth a visit.

We were the only guests that evening. The kitchen was almost empty, and we felt rather lost. It was a bad time, off-season, so it's best to check where there are more people.
At other times of the season, you'll definitely get more points.

A very characteristic place.
You're welcomed by Mrs. Cecilia, a true character.
A beautiful lady in period costume who invites you to browse, following a set path, all the products for sale before reaching your designated table.
The entire place is furnished in dark wood, a tavern reminiscent of King Arthur and Lancelot.
Tasty and plentiful dishes.
A folkloric restaurant, definitely worth a try.

One of the activities in the local tour group I joined was to come here to taste wine and enjoy farm-made spaghetti bolognese. The entire restaurant is very large. Since it is a winery with a long history, you can visit the winemaking in the cellar. The wine tasting process is very interesting, and the taste of the ancient red wine is really very special. It is absolutely unforgettable with the light spaghetti bolognese. After lunch, you can buy various types of wine brewed by it in different years in this restaurant. It is a very good holiday activity.

A historic restaurant in Montepulciano with its own locally sourced produce. The owner welcomed us and briefly told us their story, passed down through generations. The location is beautiful and huge, with several indoor and outdoor rooms, and they display their products for sale.
We ordered pici pasta, an antipasto, and Vino Nobile di Montepulciano for lunch, and it was all delicious.
I recommend stopping by if you're in Montepulciano.

I met Angela and Cecilia when I requested a cooking class for a group of American women on tour with me. I'm a tour operator and had a group of ten women with me. Initially, I wasn't sure whether to bring my second group the following week, because I'd considered changing agriturismos for the cooking class. After my experience with the first group, however, I returned to them, and now I know I'll never change!
It was much more than a simple cooking class: an authentic and unforgettable experience. The location is wonderful, nestled in the Tuscan countryside, and they treated us exceptionally well from start to finish. We cooked, ate wonderfully, and then they took us to lunch on a terrace with a spectacular view. Everything was delicious and plentiful!
But the biggest surprise was that, in addition to the cooking class, they gave us a tour of their farm, their historic cellar, and their private museum. My clients were thrilled. They all said it was the best experience of their entire week-long tour of Tuscany.
I can only thank Angela and Cecilia from the bottom of my heart: you are extraordinary! I want to tell the world about them, because it's rare to find a place where passion, hospitality, and authenticity come together so perfectly.

Magnificent place! A classic for weekend getaways, but even for groups, it's phenomenal. Top service! If you go there at least once, His Holiness the Pici all'aglione with Fiorentina steak is a must-try.
The staff is friendly, and the owners are ready to accommodate every request.

We visited with a tour group. The lunch was three courses- meats/cheeses/bread, picci with local garlic red sauce, and Vin Santo with cantucci. All very good, but did not blow me out of the water impress me. I can’t complain though. What I will warn others is that if they offer you shipping on their wine (which is very delicious) do not let them take your card or make a transaction without telling you the amount it would be or trying to convince you to buy more because the box holds 6 items. I thought this was a little shady. My mistake for not following through, but they never made it seem like it would cost a small fortune. That’s the only part of this experience that “left a bad taste”.
