Based on the reviews online and for the relatively high price, we expected more.
Huge portions, nothing special in terms of taste. My husband's meat was tough, probably reheated. My gnocchi was kind of tasteless.
The service was attentive, the atmosphere was very nice.
There are certainly better restaurants in Baveno. In our opinion not recommended

Meal for 5 with main courses, desserts, drinks for 130 euros. Very correct given the quality of the dishes! It was delicious, the pasta was delicious and very well seasoned, the meat tender and local.
I highly recommend this little restaurant.

If you expect a lot of pasta on a plate, you should go somewhere else. The food is really high quality and worth every cent. As is usual in Italy, the starter and main course fill you up well. The calamari was a taste explosion. Highly recommended.

It was hard to choose between Chef’s specials. Decided to go with the rabbit over the osso bucco because it’s something rarely seen on the menu back home. It was delicious…my Nonni would’ve been proud! Our server recommended a bottle of local Nebbiolo wine which paired perfectly. Service was prompt and friendly to our small American & Australian group.

Niet gereserveerd, dan maar binnen eten, met een hoosbui in Bardolino gisteren tijdens het eten op een terras niet erg, bovendien staan de luiken en deuren open. Kleine kaart met. Andere dan andere Italiaanse pasta’s, starten met een antipasto met een spritz la maggiore, niet helemaal mijn ding maar mijn vrouw die van de aperol is vond ‘m heerlijk.
De antipasto was heerlijk, vervolgens pasta genomen, mijn vrouw en zoon namen gnocchi met pesto mint enz. Ik nam een pittige carbonara erg lekker met klein gesneden peccorini, room en saffraan. Daarbij dronken we een Basin Spumante extra dry rosé. Erg lekker allemaal, afgetop met een ijsje van de locale ijssalon

Este restaurante merece ser el primero de los listados. El personal es muy servicial y amable, y la comida absolutamente deliciosa. Todo está cocinado y servido con cuidado, y hay un énfasis en los platos locales. Los tamaños de las porciones son generosos por lo que es de buen valor. Hemos estado aquí desde hace una semana y acabamos de hacer una visita de regreso, es posible que volvamos de nuevo durante el resto de nuestra segunda semana.
