More than starred restaurants!!!
We had lunch with the family and we really appreciated the quality of the fish first of all, very fresh and cooked to perfection: the seafood salad was very tasty and very light, with octopus with potatoes and marinated anchovies on bruschetta bread.
The first courses were sublime, both spaghetti and gnocchi with clams, perfectly risottoed (and perfectly cooked), whose aroma spread throughout the restaurant.
The desserts we took were delicious and very tasty, tart with ricotta and chocolate chips and crème caramel, all prepared by chef Antonio, a kind and very helpful person. The owner and the assistant in the dining room were also very kind and helpful.
Professional and punctual service.
Adequate prices in the quality/price ratio.
It will certainly be a constant point of reference for our lunches/dinners also in the future.

Good restaurant, although - in my humble personal opinion - with some "discrepancies". Introduction. I started going to Pollastrini, although not assiduously, since the 90s. That said, discovering that from a place with a purely Piedmontese vocation, the restaurant has "transformed" (it changed management, so I was told, about 18 months ago), into a seafood trattoria, raised some doubts in me. Leaving aside this necessary introduction, I enjoyed an excellent veal tartare and excellent agnolotti with butter and sage. The wine and spirits list is equally well-curated and varied. I would have liked to taste a local grappa, but the person who looked after me during lunch, correctly - warned me that I did not have one. In this regard, with regard to the person who looked after me throughout the meal, I would like to underline his competence, kindness and professionalism, as well as his courtesy. I certainly can't say the same thing about another individual (I don't know if he was a partner, the owner or something else) who, in addition to walking away from my table while I was still talking to him, was careful not to say goodbye when I left the restaurant. What can I say... even if I went to Pollastrini to enjoy a good lunch and not to attend a course in etiquette, I think that a little education never hurts.

I had been "targeting" it for a while and today I finally managed to go there for lunch. Nice and clean place, possibility of different lunch menus and a good à la carte menu. Very well cooked dishes (excellent mixed fried food). Prices in line with the quality, kind and helpful staff. Recommended.

Siamo stati in questo ristorante ieri sera con un amico e siamo rimasti davvero soddisfatti. Il pesce era freschissimo, cucinato alla perfezione e servito in porzioni abbondanti. Il servizio è stato attento ma mai invadente, con un’atmosfera rilassata che ci ha permesso di goderci la serata in tranquillità.
Un ringraziamento speciale al proprietario, che con grande cortesia e competenza ci ha saputo consigliare sui piatti e sugli abbinamenti di vino, contribuendo a rendere l’esperienza ancora più piacevole e curata.
Abbiamo passato un’ottima serata in compagnia, tra buon cibo e belle chiacchiere. Torneremo sicuramente!

Overall pretty good experience. Interesting dishes, generous portions. Serving anchovies in their tin can seems like a gamble; the first time I've seen them served like this. If there are Cantabrian anchovies on the menu, we trust that they will be on the plate even without their can. Little choice of wines by the glass, e.g. no bubbles. Overall, given the location, it is a place that could do more with some improvements. We will be back.
