How can we not speak highly of this trattoria on the Pinerolo hills, just steps from the magnificent Sanctuary of San Maurizio? A genuine restaurant and excellent food served with courtesy and kindness! Generous dishes and excellent value! Highly recommended!!

Very refined home cooking, everything excellent, and the desserts delicious. Clean place and exceptional location behind San Maurizio. If you like simple places, this is the place for you.

20/01/2026: Good food. Rude staff. Lunch menu with Margherita, gorgonzola, and a drink for €11. We asked if we could have the same menu without gorgonzola, and they replied in a hushed tone that they wouldn't make any changes. This request was made due to a pregnancy, not a personal whim. I definitely won't be returning.
20/01/2026: We had a great time! Rossopomodoro is a chain we've known for a long time, and this restaurant lives up to its standards!

26/03/2026: One of the best places in Sauze D’Olux for drinks, food and music! Every night they have a live band/singer on. We visited here several times during our trip, and both times the music was fantastic. The band always gets the audience involved, and the song choices are always fun and enjoyable. English is spoken each time, so dont worry if you do not speak Italian! Staff are all friendly, professional and welcoming. Both times we visited we didn’t have a booking, and both times they managed to accommodate our group of 8 without an issue (even though the place was busy both nights)
Drinks are cheap, and the food is fantastic. Highly recommend the burgers, it’s one of their specialties. The pasta is also good, and if you’re feeling adventurous, the sharing steak is also incredible. This is one of the best places in Sauze D’Olux for food, drinks and atmosphere, we highly recommend a visit!
23/03/2026: Had 2 very different nights here. Watched a 4 piece band and had some drinks and the night was excellent. Band really good and atmosphere was great and audience all singing along. Went again 2 nights later hoping for similar but it was a male 'singer' who was distinctly cabaret and not very good so we left. Good range of drinks and table service. Overall was good but entertainment was variable in my experience.
