Ristorante Pizzeria San Gregorio In Correggio

I'd heard great things about San Gregorio, but the food was absolutely divine. We had a meat-based appetizer (fried gnocco with prosciutto and burrata) and a delicious seafood one, followed by two first courses (seafood carbonara and paccheri with shrimp, cherry tomatoes, and pistachio pesto), followed by dessert, sorbet, and coffee. The fish was incredibly fresh, and the gnocco was perfectly cooked... I've only ever had paccheri this good in Syracuse. The service also deserves special mention: the staff were very kind, friendly, and attentive; we never lacked for anything. Congratulations to everyone, highly recommended!

Halfway through Correggio, I found myself at the San Gregorio restaurant, and that's where my journey began. We happened to pass by this restaurant in the center of Correggio for a quick refreshment break. The owners' warm welcome was our first fantastic calling card; we knew it would be a unique meal. Our hesitation inspired Enzo to recommend the restaurant's signature dishes. We started with the house fish appetizer, then moved on to a first course chosen by the chef. I can't describe the explosion of flavors we experienced while eating those paccheri. SUBLIME dinner!!! I highly recommend trying their cuisine. If I'm ever in the area again, I'll definitely stop by.

We had dinner on New Year's Day. We didn't have pizza, but the pinsa with cherry tomatoes and pesto as an appetizer was sublime. Then there was the good mixed grill and the roast beef accompanied by grilled vegetables, which were also good. For a restaurant/pizzeria, the food was good. The service was friendly and attentive, and above all, with a smile. Good quality and price. I recommend it if you're passing through Correggio.
