Restaurant located in the central Piazza Garibaldi of Sulmona, a stone's throw from the large Santa Chiara car park. We had some appetizers, including a grilled first course and some sautéed vegetables, both of which were amazing. The pizza was the real surprise, very good, crunchy and light, similar to Roman pizza. Excellent prices, service a little to be tested and acoustics not exactly excellent. I recommend it.

We ate excellent dishes and delicious homemade bread! The pork fillet with caramelized Tropea onions on mashed potatoes is exceptional. The impeccable service. Truly a beautiful discovery in the heart of splendid Sulmona.

Excellent food and welcoming atmosphere Last night we chose San Filippo in Piazza Garibaldi for a family dinner, and as always the experience was perfect. The environment is welcoming and informal, but without sacrificing comfort, creating the ideal atmosphere to spend a pleasant evening. We ordered several pizzas, crispy and well seasoned, which won over everyone, even those who usually prefer softer dough. Personally, however, I wanted to try something different and I chose the sliced ​​chicken with radicchio. They explained to me that cooking follows a particular procedure: first under vacuum, then on the grill with spices. The result? Simply divine! Even the first salt with mixed salad and walnuts proved to be a very pleasant surprise. In the past I have tried other dishes on the menu, such as rice with pumpkin and dried sausage, which is really worth trying. But the real icing on the cake of the evening were the desserts: a spectacular tiramisu and a cheesecake so inviting that the photo speaks for itself. In short, a place we will definitely return to several times to explore the entire menu! 🍽️✨

Cena assolutamente piacevole. Servizio veloce, cortese, impeccabile. Gusti delicati e ottimo e scelte di accompagnamento Tutto molto ben bilanciato e ben presentato. Il risotto zucca e salsiccia e lime molto delicato, filetto di maiale con cipolle di tropea delizioso. Seguendo i consigli delle recensioni, preso lo strudel di pere... spettacolare (consiglio allo chef di abbinarlo con una crema allo zabaione calda). Le pizze che hanno preso i bambini molto buone (parola di napoletana). Unica pecca per cui non metto 5 stelle e' l'arredamento molto freddo e poco accogliente ma sono gusti personali. Assolutamente consigliato.
