Always fun and delicious food at Medicea Pizzeria! Good service and tasty foccacini!

Welcoming, friendly, courteous local, family run restaurant. Enjoyed by both locals and tourists. The extensive pizza menu is fantastic and also an amazing calzone! There is a small but equally tasty alternative menu. I personally recommend the grilled chicken, grilled vegetables, the antipasti board, and foccaccete. The foccaccine is a house speciality and is loved by all!! It's a must visit if you are in Fivizzano, Lunigiana.

My wife and I had a delicious meal here. We shared an antipasto and both had a good main course, she had meat and I had a pizza. The service was friendly and the price was also good, worth repeating for us. Despite the less good reviews (which I read later), I do not share this experience.

Delicious pizza on a cozy square. Mate it takes a really long time. More than an hour for a pizza and 45 minutes for a tiramisu and a coffee.

Sunday evening we had dinner at the Medicea restaurant, the place was very crowded, we waited just the right amount of time, and the food was all excellent, with quality products, a very good pizza and very good cuisine. The waiters were also very kind and quick.

I came here with a friend because the place looked nice from the photos, and in reality it really was. Except that it would have been better to sit outside, since it was warm inside, but honestly I forgot to ask when I booked, nor was I asked as usually happens, anyway... Having set aside the problem posed, the problem of waiting arose. ONE HOUR for a pizza, it's inconceivable! And the place wasn't even full... The water and coke we ordered got hot while we waited. The flavour, too, wasn't that great... mine was a focaccia with vegetables whose dough seemed to be made with potatoes, I don't know... anyway I ate everything because obviously it was getting late and I was very hungry but I certainly won't/will return. It's a shame because the waiters, although awkward, were kind.

okay food in a local atmosphere, but with somewhat slow and uninterested service. The pizza was good. fine dough and fresh toppings. The mixed salad was okay. You can season it yourself with salt, oil and balsamico. The French fries were frozen factory fries and not the fresh ones as you'd expect from an italian. For the occassion it was okay though.
