Old fashioned atmosphere and excellent cuisine

In the last month I have often come to this restaurant: I am fixing up a house and I always come here for lunch. After all these days I can say that it is one of the places that immediately become a favorite: honest and genuine cuisine, honest to generous portions, excellent service and friendly, fast and friendly waiters. I've tried various things on the lunch menu and I have to say that it's all very good, with particular attention to the meat: good quality, perfect cooking... I'll almost be sad not to come to work here in the area anymore... recommended!!!

I ate from the €12 menu... First course, second course, side dish and drink. A lunch rated 7, not very memorable but given the cost, it's fair to give 5 stars. We're basically talking about €4 for a first course, €4 for a second course, €2 for a side dish and €2 for a drink. A real bargain. Local with yellow and red colours... Not everyone may like it! 😅

I believe it is one of the best restaurants in Rome not only for the value for money, but above all for the serious and competent staff. I have been going to this restaurant often for at least 3 years and every time the dishes have always satisfied me. At lunch there is the menu at 12 euros, first course, second side dish and drink which I think is unbeatable but even if you take other dishes without a menu they still have excellent prices and the food is delicious. The first courses always faithful to the traditions I am talking mainly about the carbonara which in this restaurant perfectly reflects the perfect carbonara because it is not too heavy nor too light in terms of taste and heaviness of the meal and it leaves you a lot of space for the second course, for the rest the environment is very beautiful inside there are many relics of Rome so for all the people from Lazio who will read this review don't dwell on this but try the food and then we'll talk about it again. For everything else, a beautiful place, I recommend it if you pass by Tuscolana.

Birthday evening. Excellent evening. Menu with fried foods and pizza. Light fried potatoes and delicious biscuits. Excellent pizza. The staff were really nice, friendly and kind. Quick in delivery. And then there was a room all to ourselves to celebrate. Everyone very satisfied. I will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

Very positive experience and I was particularly keen because it was my 50th!! I was given the perfect private room for the number of my guests…. Everything was perfect, the welcome of the staff, speed of service, precision and attention to detail.... The super present girls asked how the evening was going... Smiles and friendliness made my guests satisfied with everything from the quality of the food to the service! Value for money definitely within the norm! The owner is kind and helpful! I highly recommend it 💞Thank you again for helping to make my birthday more beautiful 🎂! Only thing…. Maybe I would have liked a little more light in the room 😜

The gluten-free pinsa is excellent! Restaurant that satisfies everyone!

É un ristorante e ci vado da più di 20 anni locale accogliente familiare il cibo di ottima qualità e fresco non ci delude mai soprattutto la gentilezza del personale e del proprietario un grazie da alberico amore e antonella

Prima volta in questo ristorante. Pranzo tra amici di grande appetito, e non siamo rimasti delusi! Abbiamo iniziato con i taglieri di formaggi e salumi di buona qualità. La sorpresa positiva è stata la carbonara e la amatriciana fatte finalmente con l' unico formato di pasta con cui deve essere fatta!! Abbiamo optato per mezze porzioni di entrambe e devo dire che siamo rimasti entusiasti!! Qualità e quantità notevoli! Per secondo bistecca danese e tagliata di manzo, carne squisita cotta alla perfezione. Buonissimi anche i contorni di patate, cicoria e zucchine grigliate. Ho anche assaggiato la torta al pistacchio molto buona. Nel servizio siamo stati seguiti dal proprietario e 2 collaboratori, gentili ed efficienti. Il conto è stato giusto per quello che abbiamo mangiato.
