A warm welcome and a delightful atmosphere that made you feel right at home. The Pici cacio e pepe were spectacular, as were the ravioli mugellani, truly delicious and prepared with great care. Not to mention the homemade desserts, simply exquisite, and the excellent coffee served in a moka pot, a detail that harks back to true tradition. A cuisine that perfectly blends tradition and innovation, with authentic, high-quality dishes. A truly appreciated note: my dog ​​was welcomed with great kindness, which we found delightful. An excellent experience in every way. We will definitely be back!

Truly a wonderful experience! A spectacular welcome from the lady, incredibly friendly and capable of making you feel right at home. Excellent bruschetta, delicious dishes, and the tagliata steak was the absolute star of the evening: tender and perfectly cooked. A truly excellent dinner in every way. We'll definitely be back!

Ristorante Accademia

10/03/2026: My husband and I were staying just around the corner at Palazzo Alfani, and they highly recommended Ristorante Accademia. Coming from Canada, it was great to get local recommendations, and it certainly lived up to the advance billing. The evening we went there was a large group dining as well, and we saw some great looking pizza heading there way from the wood fired oven, so we added that as an appetizer, along with the Mushroom Strudel. For mains, we had the Steak Florentine and Chicken Parmigiana. Pietro, our server, was very welcoming and engaging, and super helpful in selecting some of their specialties. Gianni, the owner, also stopped by to check on how we were doing. The food was wonderful, and everyone was very friendly. It felt like dining with family! Wish we had more time to go back for a pizza making class with Pietro, I'm sure it would be a blast. Something to look forward to for next time!
