Excellent service, reasonable price, speed and excellent food

The place is wonderful and worth a visit just for the wonderful view from the terrace overlooking Sutri's Roman amphitheater. Given the location, the prices are decidedly fair. The food is neither glorious nor infamous, and the service is rather glacial.

Look what a discovery...or rather...what a confirmation. If you go to Sutri, you won't have to look any further; the best is within reach, right at the entrance to the village, just after leaving the Cassia road at the amphitheater (there's a lovely tree-lined climb, Via 4 Novembre, Editor's note). I'd actually noticed it from the necropolis park opposite, because that terrace with its superb view piques curiosity even from afar. Then, when it was sold out during the "white night," it was almost obvious we'd have to abandon all hope...but no. Thanks to the owner's kindness, we managed to find a table in this beautiful place, halfway between a lounge bar and a pizzeria/restaurant, with classy furnishings mixed with elements that recall the area's antiquity and tradition. The first thing you notice is the white grand piano, and you know this isn't just your average inn. Indeed, it's known as a pizzeria, but it's also a popular restaurant (and, listen up, it even offers touristy fixed-price menus, featuring meat and seafood, all incredibly affordable). You might say, "Well, you can find nice places everywhere..." No. This one isn't just cute, it's downright beautiful, and—most importantly—the food is excellent. And, importantly, it's also very affordable. Yep, lucky to have found a place (sainthood now!), and incredibly lucky to have spent a lovely evening even on a particularly chaotic day. Traditional dishes with a flavorful twist, generous portions, absolutely affordable prices, friendly service, and then (for those lucky enough to eat on the terrace) that splendid view, caressed by the breeze that refreshes you after the warm sun and the walks. It could be the perfect place to stop after a visit to the village, or, even better, a starting point for a bite to eat before exploring this enchanting town and all its treasures. A top-notch recommendation. I recommend booking if you're visiting on the weekend (it's popular with all the locals), but if you haven't already, try asking. We have known this restaurant for several years, but we came in the evening and always ate pizza, which was also good, with the first courses and their appetizer eaten today, I confirm my positive experience! Personally I recommend it. Returned on July 6, 2025 with friends. I am happy to note a significant improvement both in the atmosphere, which I now find even more refined and immersive, and in the service. The staff was exceptional, showing great professionalism and attention to the visitor, transforming a good experience into an excellent one..

Siamo stati molte volte con amici in questo ristorante caratterizzato da un incantevole vista sul parco archeologico di Sutri che ti accompagna mentre gusti i loro piatti. Il cibo è buono, sia la pizza, molto leggera e cotta al forno a legna, ed il cucinato con piatti sempre raffinati con materie prime di alta qualità. L'unica pecca sono i piatti di pesce che, per quelli che ho provato, non sono allo stesso livello di tutti gli altri, per esempio gli Spaghetti alle Vongole cucinati con pomodoro, questo copre quel poco di sapore di pesce che hanno le vongole soprattutto se non di altissima qualità.
