Pizza - sensational! Great dough, baked to a crisp. Superb tomato sauce and not overloaded. Delicious!!! Best regards, CHEF KOCHT Homburg/Saar

The food was unfortunately expensive: a small portion of pasta was €16, a slice of salmon was €20 without any side dish, and fries were an additional €6.
The food was quite good. There was an additional charge of €3 per person for table service.

Extensive menu, good food, large selection at the bar. Popular meeting place, also recommended for large groups. Allergens are clearly labeled.
Right on the lake, nicer outside than inside.
Price-performance ratio is OK.

Apart from the salad, the food was okay.
Not a bad pizza but but compared to what we’re used to in other places in Italy, it’s average at best and for that it’s more expensive than most places we were in Italy before (and had much better pizzas). We had the Messicana (spicy salami and spicy paprika, olives normally but we asked them to leave them out) and the Boscaiola (Italian sausage, onion, champignons). The dough was okay but the crust is dry. Both were 14€ which I find quite expensive, especially given that the champignons on the Boscaiola were not fresh but canned champignons for sure, which I find unacceptable and they had basically zero taste and disgusting texture. For half a liter of red house wine (vino della casa rosso) we paid 14€ - it was an above average house wine but it cost double of what we usually pay in Italy, normally for this price you can get a regular wine. The waiter was friendly and we got our food relatively quickly, but I found it a bit odd that we specifically had to say we would like to have wine glasses (there were water glasses and we also ordered water so they were filled already..). Lastly, in Italy they usually charge for table setting (coperto), most places in the area it was 1.5-2€/person - here it was 3€/person. All in all, the pizza was OK but well below the quality we are used to in other parts of Italy, I’m only giving it a 4-star because it was, sadly, still the best one we had in Porlezza.

A friendly welcome with a smile. Contrary to other reviews here, we were served quickly and attentively. This is probably because in Italian restaurants/pizzerias/grottos, etc., you don't just sit down at a table, but wait to be called.
The food was very good, the pizzas nice and thin and crispy, the toppings flavorful and generous. The mixed salad was freshly prepared. The bruschetta classico was also fresh, with delicious tomatoes and basil.
The ambiance is pleasant. The view of the lagoon is unique. We came for dinner without a reservation during the off-season.
All in all, I would highly recommend this Ristorante Pizzeria.
