This restaurant enjoys a prime location, just steps from the central (and enchanting) Piazza Giacomo Leopardi. The refined and characteristic atmosphere blends perfectly with the Recanati city walls. Excellent food: "strana bontà" strozzapreti with a mouthwatering artichoke, mushroom, and truffle sauce, a surprising combination; a generous mixed grill, characterized by perfectly cooked meats for every cut. Appetizing fried Ascoli pasta with a crispy and fragrant breading. Pasta with tomato sauce, generous and flavorful. Excellent fries. Very fast service, even though we hadn't booked. Friendly and helpful staff.

So, as soon as I arrived, I noticed there's no tower, and it's not even ancient, because everything is modern. I paid too much, $0. OVERDUE!! Plus, when I went to the bathroom, I found a chocolate mousse. Good.

Of course, we can only review the dishes we actually ate. The chef's pasta is highly recommended. Penne with small olives in a delicious sauce—truly delicious. The pizza diavolo I ordered the next day was, unfortunately, nothing special. The dough was too dry, and otherwise not very flavorful. Fortunately, the service was friendly and attentive. And the view is phenomenal.

19/10/2025: Highly recommended. We ate really good tuna tartar and fish soup. Given the season, we ate inside. Perfect location and excellent service. Thank you.
17/10/2025: I had the pleasure of having lunch at Balneare Attilio during these last sunny days, and the experience was fantastic. ​The atmosphere is priceless: they seated me at a table overlooking the sea, allowing me to fully enjoy the breeze and the view. ​The staff was extremely kind and attentive. One detail I appreciated was the waitress's thoughtfulness in ensuring my gratin appetizer included scallops. The appetizer was exquisite, a perfect start. ​I continued with shrimp and calamari skewers, which were also absolutely excellent, a sign that the fish is incredibly fresh. All washed down with a nice glass of Passerina. ​A place where excellent fresh seafood cuisine combines with friendly service and a wonderful location. Highly recommended!
