We tried this restaurant on the advice of a friend.
The staff were welcoming and helpful, they reserved a small table for us in the background to have space for our Labrador.
The dishes, despite the name of the restaurant, which could be misleading, are refined and well presented without losing sight of the local raw materials.
Although not close to us, we will definitely return to try other specialties that today only tickled our eyes.
Excellent value for money.

Fantastic experience!!!
We had lunch at the Stalla, a very welcoming and characteristic place... warm and with attention to detail!
The cuisine is excellent: traditional but at the same time with innovative dishes and attention to the smallest details.
Interesting wine list and impeccable service.
Friendliness and courtesy of the staff in a super location!

Hanno rinnovato locale e menù, ma mi sembra che sia andata persa la rusticità che mi piaceva tanto. Gli gnocchi di polenta prima erano diversi, ora sono come tutti gli altri. Anche le porzioni sono diminuite e il conto mi è sembrato caro perché in tre abbiamo speso circa €74 per un piatto a testa, due dolci, un contorno e due acque.

La Stalla è sempre una conferma se si vuole mangiare bene in Valle Vigezzo. Rispetto al periodo estivo sono state fatte delle aggiunte come l'entrée con hummus di ceci al posto del pane e mandarini come fine cena: si tratta di piccole accortezze che fanno apprezzare ancor più il bel locale. Per non parlarle degli hamburger inseriti di recente nel menú che sono squisiti. Gli unici miglioramenti da fare sono la pizza, che nei mesi precedenti trovavo più buona e la polenta, che se fosse tipo taragna o comunque più curata andrebbe a migliorare di molto i contorni di carne o i primi. Birra e vino della zona ottimi.
