Pizzeria located inside the castle. A characteristic location, a little dated, but suggestive. Varied menu. Good quality of dishes, prices a little above average. The table service was very professional and courteous.

In addition to being in a unique location (Castel Brando in Cison di Valmarino) this restaurant is ideal for an informal dinner. We ate very well: a volcano of polenta with mushrooms and Venetian soppressa and a sheet of red radicchio from Treviso accompanied by an excellent glass of Prosecco. All excellent and... well plated. And you can park in the town by taking the funicular up! In just three minutes you enter the fairy tale.... beautiful.

Refined and elegant location with seating both indoors and on the external panoramic terrace (in summer). The restaurant is inside the Castel Brando complex. It can be easily reached via the funicular that takes you from the car park to the castle for the price of €2 (includes return trip). Access by car is reserved for guests staying in the property. The place is very large, made up of a large room divided into a more private portion with a mezzanine and a larger, noisier one, but the evening is, all things considered, pleasant. Friendly staff, helpful and quick in handling the order. For the moment, we have only tried the pizzas. In addition to the more traditional flavors there are some particular ones such as the "pinsa" that I tried. The quality is good, the dough well-leavened and not heavy. The price, higher than average, is clearly due to the location.

Pranzo con amici in una domenica a Cison di Valmarino, una località che ci piace visitare per una passeggiata, anche se un po' fuori mano. Siamo tornati alla Fucina, all'interno di Castel Brando, e ancora una volta ne siamo rimasti soddisfatti. L'ambientazione è sicuramente di livello superiore, cosa che ovviamente si riflette nei prezzi non proprio "popolari", ma la qualità delle pietanze giustifica sicuramente l'esperienza. Abbiamo provato i gnocchi al ragù d'anatra, mentre come secondi alcuni di noi hanno scelto la tagliata di carne e altri il tonno: tutto davvero buono. Il vino ha accompagnato bene il pasto, e il gelato alla vaniglia con l'amaro del castello è stata una piacevole sorpresa. Il personale (anche con qualche prima leva) si è dimostrato sempre gentile, professionale e disponibile. Un'esperienza davvero piacevole. Alla prossima!!!
