A good restaurant in Sappada to eat at. On weekends, you'll almost always find a line and have to wait about ten minutes, but it's worth it.
We returned here for the second time to eat the Linzertorte, which was very good.
The pizza was also light and easy to digest.

I've been to Karl's Keller twice, both on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day, and I can say without hesitation that it was a wonderful discovery.
The food is simply amazing. The pizza is one of the best I've ever eaten: perfect dough, quality ingredients, and a great balance of flavors.
The cold cuts and cheese platter was fantastic, rich, fragrant, and full of flavor: you can immediately taste the freshness and care put into the selection of ingredients.
The first course was excellent, but a special mention goes to the venison steak, truly fantastic, tender, and cooked to perfection.
But what makes Carl's Keller truly special is the staff, including the owners: genuine, kind, attentive people who make you feel welcomed and at home. It's not just about eating well, it's about enjoying an experience filled with warmth, smiles, and passion for what they do.
A place where you'll gladly return, and where I will definitely return.
Sincere congratulations to all the staff: you managed to make two special days even more beautiful.

We had lunch for two. Good food, fast service. The desserts, homemade, were also delicious. Two aperitifs, two first courses, two desserts, and two coffees, for €30/person. The price was reasonable for the location and quality. We'll be back to try the pizza, cooked in a wood-fired oven.
A must try!

Dinner
Small place, just a few tables, and they don't take reservations. It's a first-come, first-served basis? (But I saw a table already set, and then the guests who had booked arrived.)
The first courses were good: onion soup and tagliatelle with venison ragu. The second courses were poor: the pork shank with inappropriate side dishes, and the wild boar cheeks had a bitter taste. Maybe it's our tastes, I don't know?
They also do pizzas; maybe next time.

The place feels warm and welcoming.
Even better, its staff is truly kind and helpful. I would recommend it to anyone; I have to say, it's the best in the area.
