Incuriositi dalla location molto particolare in una posizione strategica a Porto Venere, abbiamo fatto un aperitivo accompagnato da alici ripiene con una ricetta storica del 1960 e devo dire che erano eccezionali .. la proprietaria molto gentile, ci ha raccontato che le ricette sono quelle tramandate dai suoi genitori… avrei voluto mettere le foto ma non abbiamo fatto in tempo… 😅😅😋😋😋Bravi complimenti sicuramente alla prossima..!

Optimal! A piece of advice: book. Not a very big restaurant but worth a try. Baked products are their specialty (sublime flour) but also traditional dishes prepared with excellent quality raw materials (from their garden). We appreciated the stuffed anchovies, the prebugiun and obviously the trofie with pesto. Compliments to the elegant and friendly hostess

We stayed in Portovenere for three days and happened to have dinner at "Il Timone" by chance. We enjoyed it so much that we returned the next evening. Excellent food, quality raw materials, typical products cooked to the best. We tried the farinata, the sgabei, the focaccia, homemade gnocchi with cuttlefish and muscle ragout, the pesto, their own oil, cold cuts, fried fish... all delicious. Antonella, the owner, is very welcoming and hospitable enough to make you feel at home straight away. Unfortunately we were unable to enjoy a dinner outside so we will certainly return in the summer. Compliments!!!!

A cena in famiglia, abbiamo trovato un ambiente che emana tranquillità dove mangiare rilassati. Dimensioni della sala contenuta, si mangiano pietanze della tradizione ligure. In tre abbiamo diviso due antipasti, ottimi, due primi e una frittura di pesce da applauso. Pagato il giusto. Menù contenuto nelle scelte, ma con un ventaglio di proposte da accontentare tutti. Porzioni dei piatti corrette e anche tendenti alla abbondanza. Bravi

Nice location and friendly staff, however we weren't very happy with the food, the pasta with fish had a watered down taste, the octopus salad had no flavor and the glasses tasted like fish. It should improve and review something.
