Excellent pizza dinner! One of which was gluten-free. Service was super fast and the staff were incredibly helpful and attentive. Kudos to the entire staff.

The reception of our apartment recommended this restaurant. We were very pleased, if you are Hungarian then you will really like the wild boar tomato Sardinian ragu with pasta. They also add a jar of grated cheese, you can sprinkle as much as you want on it. The seafood pasta is strong, with very intense flavors.

This is our second year back: the place is beautiful and well-maintained, the service is friendly and very fast, even during the busy Friday evening, August 1st (the service has improved since last year, especially the friendliness of the wait staff!). We had a fried calamari and shrimp platter for four to share as an appetizer (good, but perhaps not very generous considering the price), and then four pizzas, very good, well-seasoned, and easy to digest. Good prices. We'll be back!

The best pizza in Sardinia!! Even though we hadn't made a reservation, they still managed to set up a table for four. Everything was excellent: food, drinks, service, and atmosphere.

In peak season, it's best to book in advance! We got an early table for dinner, with the instruction to vacate it by a certain time, which was clearly stated from the start, as everything was booked. The food was truly excellent, and the service was fast. Most of the servers were pleasant and professional. It was a shame that one of them seemed a little jaded: no smile, just a blank stare while we were ordering... It contrasted with the warm welcome from the rest of the team.

The quality of pizza eaten on-site and take-out is drastically different: in the latter (3 days after eating at the restaurant), the crust was burned on 100% of the pizzas ordered.

21/07/2025: I've had the pleasure of dining at Griglieria Simona in San Teodoro more than once, and I can say it's been a truly fantastic experience. The food is excellent: the porceddu is simply delicious, cooked to perfection, accompanied by crispy potatoes that complement the dish impeccably. The beautiful and friendly staff is the true highlight of this restaurant. They are all very professional, kind, and friendly, always ready to make your visit special and recommend the best dishes. Their hospitality and infectious smiles make the atmosphere even more welcoming. 20/07/2025: We had the pleasure of dining at this restaurant serving traditional Sardinian cuisine, and we were thrilled. The atmosphere is welcoming, warm, and full of traditional details. The real star of the evening was the roast suckling pig: tender, flavorful, and perfectly cooked, accompanied by a delicious Cannonau, recommended by the waiter. The service also deserves special mention: the staff were friendly, attentive, and never intrusive, always ready to accommodate every request with a smile, especially Alessandro. Highly recommended!

Ristorante dell’Hotel Majore

30/04/2025: Quite OK for a short stay. The room is clean (a little dated of course), the air conditioning works well, the breakfast is varied (salty/sweet). Good welcome. Free parking is easy nearby. The hotel is well positioned. And the icing on the cake: there was no one at the swimming pool when I was there (end of June 2024).
25/03/2025: The price/quality ratio is indecent. We are a mixed-race couple and were a little apprehensive because many people told us we would be discriminated against in the area. So, let me tell you, that's bullshit. We were treated like royalty both inside this hotel and in the surrounding restaurants! Indoor pool, French-speaking staff, very tasty continental buffet, spacious and clean rooms with a small balcony for aperitifs, perfect location for touring the city or taking the bus. You can eat there during the day by ordering! And the added bonus: we received a list of restaurants to visit in the city! We'll definitely be back; it's a real favorite for us 😍 PS: If you're lucky, a food truck serves great burgers in the square by the bus stop in the summer.
