I found myself at Il Coccaro for a family lunch. We were inside due to the time of year and the rain. There were six of us and about ten children. The owner's service was excellent, not overbearing but always super helpful. The appetizers were good; we ordered cured meats, cheeses, and various fried olives. The first courses were superb, especially the homemade fried tagliatella. The macaroni were also excellent. For the second course, I ordered very good arrosticini! The homemade desserts were excellent!

We returned for dinner again this year, as has been our tradition since 2011 (we even saw the restaurant under construction). What can I say: the pizza is always excellent, the view is unique in the area (we're about 460 meters above sea level), and the friendliness and courtesy of Mariano and his staff, who immediately make you feel at ease. I almost forgot about the delicious Ascoli olives and the delicious cremini.

The owners were accommodating to allow us access, I have limited mobility. Sat outside with views towards Fermo and the sea. Tagliatelle fritte was delicious. Price very reasonable. Park next door would be a good distraction for kids.

The service is friendly and welcoming, though sometimes a bit slow: it's not the right place for a quick meal, but rather to calmly enjoy the cuisine and the view from the terrace, which overlooks the Adriatic Sea and, on clear days, even offers a view of Mount Conero. Lunch for two. I hadn't booked, but the owner accommodated me anyway. The pinsa and mortadella appetizer was a fantastic combination. Then came a typical Marche first course: fried tagliatelle. Truly delicious. The price was reasonable, but fair. The atmosphere isn't particularly refined, but it's adequate, and there's a spectacular panoramic view if you eat outside.

Mediocre. Nothing special. I ordered a first course (like strozzapreti) with arrabbiata sauce and ciauscolo (which was practically overcooked and never arrived). For the second course, a sliced ​​veal steak, which was very good, but the cooking level wasn't specified when ordering (though it was perfect, to be honest). The portion of baked potatoes was tiny, as were the ciauscolo olives and the other side dishes. The cheesecake was good (but also very modest in size), but there weren't any flavors that would make me want to return. Prices were medium-high, especially considering our table was set up outside and we were plagued by bugs under a tree. As a native of the Marche, I didn't experience the classic flavors of inland places. Parking was hard to find on Sundays (but not the restaurant's fault).

The food is local, some homemade. The fried pasta balls are delicious. The arrosticini, although not from the Marche region, were also very good. The view is incredible, especially at sunset.

Fried tagliatelle are a sure thing. You can also try them vegetarian or gluten-free, but I recommend calling ahead to confirm availability!
