Must try at least once in your life!!
We discovered this restaurant because we chose to experience the quad excursion, which we've already tried in other locations, but it's unmatched.
The experience far exceeded all our expectations, starting with the welcome, helpfulness, and kindness of the owner and all the staff.
The guide was fantastic, enriching the entire tour with explanations of local attractions and strategic photo stops.
The aperitif at the end of the tour was truly a treat.

My wife and I are regulars at this beautiful and charming restaurant. The owner, Mr. Emilio, is a wonderful person, endowed with grace, kindness, and expertise, and we always trust him with the selection of dishes. Today we started with the castle appetizer, a mix of warm dishes, cured meats, and cheeses accompanied by truly exceptional artisanal jams. For the first course, macaroni with meat sauce was a real treat, and for the second course, a rich and well-cooked mixed grill and a tender sirloin with porcini mushrooms... what more can I say? If you find yourself in Novara di Sicilia, you simply must visit Al Castello. It will certainly be an experience you will never forget.

An excellent restaurant in an enchanting location at the top of Novata di Sicilia, one of Italy's most beautiful villages. Nestled around a ruined castle, its terrace offers a truly enviable view, with the Aeolian Islands on one side and Rocca Salvatesta on the other, in a meticulously maintained and welcoming setting. The cuisine perfectly reflects the Peloritano region, with seasonal dishes that beautifully reflect local culinary traditions. The appetizers, varied and plentiful, are not to be missed. Among the first courses, the homemade macaroni with ragù is a must, and among the second courses, the mixed grill. The service is excellent, extremely professional and courteous. The quality/price ratio is also excellent.

An excellent lunch in a pleasant setting. The restaurant is bright and welcoming, with a stunning view and efficient service. We hadn't booked, and despite the crowds, they welcomed us with great hospitality.

Il Castello is a wonderful place. The food was very good as well as the service. Even with the language barrier we had a great time. The location and view were amazing. The nighttime view of Novara was spectacular. We went a second time and were not disappointed. It is a trek walking up to the restaurant from town but it is worth it. Nice amount on the menu and good wines too.

A must-see in Novara, this scenic and charming restaurant boasts the castle ruins. It's within walking distance through the village's narrow streets. Excellent food and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended.
