A must-see in Novara, this scenic and charming restaurant boasts the castle ruins. It's within walking distance through the village's narrow streets. Excellent food and friendly, knowledgeable staff. Highly recommended.

We ate very well and the portions were generous! Unfortunately, the service took longer than average!

Excellent restaurant for its setting, view, atmosphere, cleanliness, staff, and food... Especially the trofie with courgette flower and almond pesto: delicious.

Bring an adventurous spirit; reaching the top of the castle won't be easy, but the breathtaking view will be absolutely worth it. A very refined location, steeped in history, in a place frozen in time, with impeccable service and the quality of the dishes will be greatly appreciated. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We booked a 1.5-hour quad tour here and received a wonderful and friendly welcome. Excellent guide and detailed explanations. At the end, a typical aperitif with cold cuts and cheese and delicious fried bread. A great conversation with the owner. We'd definitely be happy to come back for a good meal with a breathtaking view.

We did the 3.5 hour Quad excursion and I recommend it to everyone, excellent and very knowledgeable guides, we then had both an aperitif and dinner at the castle and we had a great time, excellent food. More than fair value for money. An experience that I highly recommend.

Typical Sicilian food. Extremely deliciously prepared. We also went on a quad bike tour to explore the area. It was very impressive, and we would do it again anytime, as we felt safe with our children at all times. Many thanks to Emilio and his team.

Novara di Sicilia mérite une visite, malgré des difficultés d'accès routier. Il Castello se mérite : laisser la voiture dans le village, contourner le Duomo par la gauche et prendre à pied une ruelle très en pente pour arriver dans les ruines d'un château de l'époque arabo-normande où est installée une salle de restaurant très accueillante, disposant d'une terrasse avec vue sur les îles Éoliennes. Après un copieux hors d'oeuvre, comportant un assortiment de produits locaux (fromages, salaisons, beignets, olives, tomates séchées assaisonnées,...), on peut ne plus avoir faim. Mais ce serait renoncer à différents plats de pâtes, fraîchement préparées, à sauce rouge ou blanche. Pour la suite, ne pas s'attendre à y trouver du poisson (on est en montagne !) mais d'excellentes grillades mêlant agneau et porc. Le patron, discret, est à l'écoute du client. Une très bonne adresse.
