The place is very nice and welcoming. Even romantic. Very kind and fast service. We got the pizza for the kids and it was delicious, as was the focaccia with the cold cuts platter. The pasta can be improved. Still not bad.

Ristorante gestito da un romano che unisce i sapori della cucina laziale a quella umbra. Risultato, un'ottima carbonara e ottimi tozzetti al vin santo. Cortesia nel servizio e sopratutto nel proprietario che ci ha intrattenuto alla fine raccontandoci come ha iniziato. Una delizia il culatello al forno cotto nel miele.. se siete ad Assisi non perdetevi una cena qui!

Negative. Very slow service, ordered hamburger and raw meat arrived. They tried reheating the meat, but it came out totally burnt. Inedible. A pizzeria that no longer has pizzas at 9.30pm... crazy!!! Meh!

Restaurant in the historic center. Unfortunately we realize that many people are closed in Assisi on Mondays... we decide to have dinner here since it is open. I would like to point out that the restaurants in Assisi are almost all expensive... so expect at least €12 for a plate of pasta. We go in and ask if there is room for 2 without having booked... they tell us yes but we can't order pizza due to who knows what problem. Ok, we didn't feel like it. We sit in the upstairs room... so we have to go up some stairs. Very nice and clean inside. They have a wood-fired pizza oven in sight in the dining room... if the smell bothers you, go elsewhere. It's not for you! We sit down and order 2 first courses: pappardelle with wild boar (14€) and tagliatelle with nettle and saffron (15€). The excellent tagliatelle with nettles... the very tender wild boar. To conclude, salad and a glass of wine. Here in Assisi, expect at least €2.50 cover charge. I recommend it… but personally I won't go back again! Why? I was told that I couldn't order pizza... but those who came after us ordered it calmly. Customers are all the same.

My family and I had a wonderful experience at I Monaci. The restaurant has a lovely, relaxed atmosphere that made us feel right at home. The staff was sweet and friendly, providing excellent service throughout our visit. The menu was exciting and diverse, offering a variety of well-prepared dishes. We thoroughly enjoyed every meal. Highly recommended!

28/04/2024: Sono stata per la prima volta da Apriti Sedano in occasione del pranzo di Pasqua. Ho mangiato quindi a menù fisso, ed è stato tutto soddisfacente. Segnalo anche la bellissima vista di cui si gode che è sicuramente un valore aggiunto. Il servizio è stato cortese, in particolare la ragazza che si è occupata del nostro tavolo è stata davvero affabile e gentile. Torneremo sicuramente!
