Now a regular stop when we visit Assisi, we've found the friendliness and good food here, which I believe are the key elements that keep me coming back. It's like savoring the flavors of home cooking, just like an Italian grandmother's, with that little something extra that makes everything even better.

After a long stroll through the streets of Assisi, my partner and I found this restaurant on our way... the owner welcomed us with great charisma, and with every dish he managed to convey emotions. If you're passing through Assisi, you can't miss trying the excellent cuisine at I Monaci.

We had a wonderful meal here! We were served by the restaurant owner. His wife is in the kitchen and is a fantastic cook. The owner told us about the restaurant, all the homemade dishes, and even about things we should see while we were on vacation here. The pasta carbonara was truly fantastic! But let's not forget the dessert, because it was delicious! The owner also told us it would take another fifteen minutes for the dessert to be ready because it still had to be made. But it was definitely worth the wait; it was truly fantastic! We enjoyed it and will definitely be back!

The best restaurant at Assisi, if you are here visiting you must try it! The owner is really kind to and her wife is preparing the food. Amazing ricotta with a delicious orange jelly and amazing tiramisú!

A cozy restaurant where you can enjoy delicious pasta and burgers. Pizzas weren't available, but we didn't mind. The kids especially enjoyed the pasta dishes: Papadelle with wild boar and Spaghetti Carbonara. And of course, a delicious bottle of red wine was served with it.

Mr. Fábio, the owner, was friendly and cordial, from the reception to the table service.
The dishes we ordered were very well presented and delicious.

De bediening was prettig en een rustige atmosfeer. De eigenaar maakte even een praatje en kwam langs de tafel om een wijziging in de bestelling door te geven.
De pizza (op aanraden van de serveerster) was heerlijk!

Con la vecchia gestione mai aspettato così tanto per essere serviti. Appena seduti veniamo informati che per le pizze minimo c'era da aspettare 40 minuti. 😳Eravamo in sei. Ordiniamo quindi degli stuzzichini. Venti minuti per delle patatine e per della pastella fritta con traccie di salvia. Le pizze arrivano dopo un'ora e 15 minuti.... Imbarazzante. Tre pallini per la gentilezza dei ragazzi e per la pizza, che non è male. Cercate di organizzarvi, ne avete la possibilità, così non va.... Allontanate i clienti locali, che vi verrebbero a trovare nei periodi di basso turismo, teneteli più in considerazione.. PS altro aspetto positivo, i bagni rinnovati.....
