What can I say? Excellent location. I stayed there one night, the room was spotless and felt like being in a grand hotel. I will gladly return next time and recommend it to anyone passing through Scalea.

Great location, close to both downtown and the beach. The room was comfortable, and the kind owner elevated our experience to the highest level. If you’re planning a stay in Scalea, this hotel comes highly recommended.

We visited on September, very quiet and clean not big hotel. Lovely staff, Italian breakfast was nice, coffee very good. Room vas nice and clean, bed comfy.

The Genova Hotel restaurant has closed. The hotel remains, still among the most recommended in Scalea, but the restaurant has changed management. And its name, too: it's now called "Cedro e peperoncino."

We just spent four fabulous days. An excellent property in every way. The hospitality and kindness of the owners, impeccable cleanliness, and above all, no parking problems and very, very close to the beach. The property is right in the center. An experience I recommend without a doubt.

The single room was sufficiently large and even had room for my bike. The amenities were better than I expected based on the description. However, the same cannot be said for breakfast. It consisted of just a cup of coffee, a croissant, and a glass of orange juice.

19/08/2025: An excellent trattoria for spending evenings with family and friends. Good quality food and plenty of it. Efficient service with very friendly waiters. Pleasant and relaxing atmosphere. As for the bill, there were four of us. The appetizer was generous, and the four main courses were delicious and generous, and the price was very reasonable. Only €90. Definitely worth returning.

09/01/2026: Great restaurant that we visit almost every year!
27/12/2025: The restaurant is nice. The pizza is very good, but the Diavola wasn't as spicy as I expected. The grilled fish was a bit dry, but we really enjoyed the house wine. Overall, a pleasant experience, but there's room for improvement.
