The Genova Hotel restaurant has closed. The hotel remains, still among the most recommended in Scalea, but the restaurant has changed management. And its name, too: it's now called "Cedro e peperoncino."

We just spent four fabulous days. An excellent property in every way. The hospitality and kindness of the owners, impeccable cleanliness, and above all, no parking problems and very, very close to the beach. The property is right in the center. An experience I recommend without a doubt.

The single room was sufficiently large and even had room for my bike. The amenities were better than I expected based on the description. However, the same cannot be said for breakfast. It consisted of just a cup of coffee, a croissant, and a glass of orange juice.

12/08/2025: Large and spacious, both inside and out. The carbonara is truly spectacular, the pizzas are also delicious, and the gluten-free options are well-chosen and high-quality. Good service and excellent value. Recommended.
