The restaurant is just outside the historic center of Ceglie and has private parking. The house starter is rich and varied: meatballs, strong ricotta, broad bean puree, cheese with honey and walnuts, cured meats..... We also tasted two first courses: orecchiette with turnip greens and breadcrumbs and strascinati with truly delicious cardoncelli! We ended the dinner with some super delicious biscuits and a glass of house cherry! Very kind staff, attentive and ready to respond to every request. Compliments! We'll be back!

Our family is from nearby Villa Castelli and every time we come to visit them, Mimma's is a must visit for both lunch and dinner. Definitely the best meal we had when we recently visited in June.

Since historic centers rightly force you to leave your cars outside and finding a parking space becomes difficult, we looked for a restaurant in the immediate outskirts and stopped here at Mimma's. Cozy place, very attentive and kind young staff. Good at recommending and explaining the dishes. Compliments to the chef. The very kind owner ensures with kindness and kindness that everything goes well. Traditional cuisine but with something extra to give a touch of novelty. We regret not having discovered it sooner but only these last two evenings of our holiday

Grande veranda panoramica con vista sullo stromboli e tramonti mozzafiato. Personale molto professionale, attento e sempre gentile. Ogni richiesta arriva con solerzia. Il cibo è buonissimo, piatti di pesce fresco e preparato con grande conoscenza degli ingredienti e piacevoli alla vista. Sono i particolari che ti fanno tornare: il sugo sempre preparato con pomodorini freschi, i fileja freschi e cotti perfettamente, i crostini all'interno del sughetto dei moscerini sono passati in padella con olio.... Non li vedi ma quando li mangi ti accorgi del sapore. Pizza napoletana con crosta alta. Uno dei pochi ristoranti a capovaticano dove potrei cenare tutte le sere. Ottimo. Mimma, ti manca un piatto con il pesce stocco. Sicuramente sarebbe buonissimo. Consigliatissimo.

Pizzeria, waar je ook kan afhalen open vanaf 19:00, wij arriveerden om 20:00, om 20:30 en 21:10 kwamen er meer mensen. We namen wat vooraf polpette en panzerottini, lekker maar die waren nog niet op toen de pizza al kwam, jammer maar wel typisch Italiaans. Parkeren is overigens voor de deur en er is zelf iemand die parkeerinstructies geeft (en de kat aait). Wel werd er muziek gedraaid en wat opvalt is dat er geen TV aanstaat en zelfs niet hangt. Mijn pizza (frutti di mari) de mosselschelpen zijn broos want die zijn mee de oven ingeweest. We laten de rest van de pizza inpakken, (scotola) en ik neem een tiramisu, maar die is te vast. De spumone al biscotto cegliese (kers) van mijn partner was wel bijzonder. Amaro na, (1 Euro). Al met al lekkere pizza, verder ok.

Pleasant place, excellent pizza... You can eat it very well... the friendliness is top 😊👍 worth trying... I recommend it 🥰
