Excellent home cooking, we dined in a friendly atmosphere. Alessandro is a real joy! Everything was delicious, from the ravioli to the roast beef, and the fries were amazing! As soon as we sat down, we were offered a plate of bruschetta with tomato sauce, which was delicious! We'll see you again soon!

A typical Abruzzo trattoria serving local specialties. Spaghetti alla chitarra, grilled caciocavallo cheese stuffed with prosciutto, buttered spinach, French fries, water, and a half-liter of Montepulciano. The price is very reasonable at €38, and the food is delicious.

A simple, unpretentious place. But perhaps the best place to eat in Chieti. A discovery! Authentic food, genuine, and attentive staff!

My husband and I ended up here by chance the day before Ferragosto (August 15th). We were looking for a place to refuel after a sightseeing tour of Chieti, and by pure chance we found this trattoria near our parking lot. The lady who served us welcomed us immediately with kindness and sweetness, despite our dog, who was welcome. We were treated like we were at a loving relative's home. Homemade cooking with the freshest and most delicious ingredients. They immediately pampered us, offering us bread and olive oil with delicious chopped tomatoes. Then we ordered a mixed grill with veal steak, mutton, sausage, and arrosticini, all excellent and cooked to perfection. An honorable mention goes to the homemade French fries made with market potatoes picked up that morning; they brought back memories of my childhood. Exceptional! At the end, we were also offered a slice of watermelon and a portion of ice cream! The lady on the house also wanted to offer us liquor and coffee, but we politely declined! All this for the modest sum of €25 per person! If I ever pass through Chieti again, I'll definitely eat there again! Trattorias like this, sadly, no longer exist. It's a throwback to the days of family-run trattorias! We'll take home one of our fondest memories of Abruzzo.

Passing through Rieti, found it by chance, like being at home, not very crowded, simple and genuine food, fried potatoes among the best I've ever eaten.

A truly family-friendly atmosphere I'll definitely be back with my family.
