When we are in the area we can't help but stop in this place... the food is very good... especially the SORANA BEANS...

Alla fine del bel giro sulle alte colline boschive di Pescia,dette la Svizzera pesciatina, dopo varie soste tra borghi diroccati,boschetti, abbazie,fonti e torri,a valle, abbiano trovato ,per fortuna, di lunedì,questo ampio ristorante adiacente al pescoso laghetto.Ambiente accogliente,vivace con vista sul camino acceso,arredo rustico con suppellettili cariche di folklore ,cibo buono di campagna.Zuppa vegetale carica di sapori genuini, galletto arrosto, verdure bollite di stagione.Rosso della casa gradevole, pastoso.Cantuccini con liquore,amabili.Uscita,assalita dalle oche!

I have been to this restaurant several times with my partner, and we have always left satisfied. All very good with generous portions. The staff is always very kind and professional. Very clean place with excellent value for money. I highly recommend it

Excellent food and service, will return

I went to this place for dinner with my husband and my two dogs. I found the food appetizing and finally with different proposals compared to the area. Too bad for the poor welcome from the waiter. A boy who didn't like us, but above all our dogs. We were placed at a table separate from the rest of the others, and I appreciated it, so as not to disturb people who don't like animals. The restaurant has two entrances, a main one in front of the bar counter and one overlooking the veranda. It was raining and cold, so we entered from the main one. Our table was next to the entrance to the veranda, obviously closed, and the door was locked. I set up a dog blanket and water bowl right there. The part with more space than the other where there was a table. At a certain point the waiter arrives and tells me that I have to move everything because people will come in from there... Which is obviously impossible given the weather and temperatures. He opens the closed latch... Which would certainly have remained closed if we hadn't been there, with two dogs. The thought is simple, it really bothered him even to see the dogs. Throughout the evening no one ever entered through that door, but I had no doubts. Behind my seat a window sash was completely open and cold air was coming in, and if you are at all careful you close it. But the window had been opened deliberately. While all the windows next to the other tables in the room were closed. Welcome is the first thing you like when you enter any place. I'm sorry but I didn't find it there, on the contrary. A completely different story at the restaurant just before "Da Sandrino", welcoming, helpful and animal lovers.

Già frequentato in passato,mangiare e prezzi nella norma.Dopo avere pagato mi accorgo che lo scontrino e di conseguenza il conto non è mio,anche sapendo che forse avrei dovuto pagare una differenza,ci rifanno il conto con un addebito di 35 € . Pago tranquillamente . Mi sarei aspettato un Grazie, uno sconto dei caffè. L'onestà non paga

The food is good but...a little expensive...

Steak and entree always excellent. (PS even in summer it's cold on the veranda!)

Good proposal, beautiful external and rustic internal location. Fair prices. The only downside was the service was a little too slow but still professional.
