I thought a seafood risotto should have a completely different flavor: more succulent... that the fish shouldn't be mixed with the rice without blending the flavors. A bit of a disappointment. The service was attentive, however, and the sea view was pleasant. We'll try the pizza next time.

Sea view and good food. Attentive and friendly service but never intrusive. Very fresh and plentiful food. Free parking on site. Excellent pizzas. Clean and welcoming place.

Abbiamo alloggiato una settimana a Marzamemi! Dalla colazione alla cena è stato il nostro posto del cuore! Soprattutto la cena, pizza meravigliosa, buonissima e digeribilissima, vista sul porto e ultimo ma non meno importante personale simpatico e cordiale! 5 su 5 senza ombra di dubbio!

We had lunch here for a business lunch before the start of the season, the perfect situation to enjoy the outdoor environment, the sea view and the good food. The service was attentive and friendly without being intrusive. The dishes were varied and tasty and the pasta and rice were cooked perfectly al dente. A highly recommended experience.

We chose this restaurant by chance, but the very kind, helpful and courteous staff were a real surprise. The food was all very fresh and I would say super plentiful and delicious... the only negative note is that we are passing through and won't be able to return anytime soon... thanks to Marco and the chef on behalf of Achille!

12/07/2025: U Palangaru, renowned and now famous in Portopalo. One of the busiest restaurants, for sure. The strong points are definitely the atmosphere, which I've always found very relaxing, and the Chef's appetizer: Una Bomba. The only flaw? The overpriced first and second courses. In Portopalo, I still haven't found a restaurant that stands out from the crowd. The usual first courses with cherry tomatoes, pistachios, shrimp, etc. No one ever stands out. I recommend trying something new, the potential is there. The combination menu idea is also nice.
05/07/2025: The menu offers a wide choice, especially fish, but also pizzas. I definitely recommend the chef's appetizer: a rich and carefully selected selection of tastings (even if calling them "tastings" is definitely reductive!) that alone is worth the visit, and the tuna alla matalotta. Others with me opted for the first courses and I would say that they were impressed by both the quality and the generosity of the portions. The lemon jelly for dessert is also good! The restaurant offers the possibility of eating both inside and outside.

02/08/2025: Local, authentic, and very tasty food, generous portions, very fast and efficient service, friendly, professional, and welcoming staff, all in a quiet setting just a few meters from the seafront. Recommended to everyone, as a Sicilian who loves good food!
28/07/2025: Had a romantic dinner quite late in the evening time(around 22:30). Food=amazing, portions=quite large, staff=delightful to have them around. For cat lovers you have a few sweethearts roaming around.
