I've been frequenting this restaurant for decades. The ingredients are excellent, always fresh, and everything is prepared simply and tastefully. A simple, unpretentious place where the food tastes like home. I recommend always asking for the specials of the day.

A few weeks ago, while staying near the stadium in Naples, we were recommended lunch at Ciarly. Overall, the experience was positive. The restaurant has a simple, spartan feel. The pizza is traditional Neapolitan; the bucatini with rabbit sauce was exquisite; the fried foods were flavorful and not greasy. I recommend the tiramisu, which was delicious, creamy, and delicate.

We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, across from the Mostra d'Oltremare and the Maradona Stadium. We were planning on grabbing a quick first course and leaving, but seeing the delicious, crispy, and dry fried food coming out of the kitchen, we couldn't resist. Everything was delicious and, despite being fried, light. The staff...well, a warm and friendly welcome—it's Naples after all! If they hadn't invited me to dinner elsewhere that evening, I would have gone back. Recommended!

The fried foods are delicious, especially the fried bucatini with tomato sauce. The classic Neapolitan pizza is average. The service is quite fast. Convenient because it's very close to the Campi Flegrei metro station and the stadium.

We stayed here several weekends to take a course at Federico II. The staff were patient and friendly, the food excellent, and the hospitality genuine. A must-see in Fuorigrotta.

On the recommendation of a friend, I decided to try Ciarly pizzeria. The reception wasn't particularly friendly, although the service was kind and affable. Almost immediately, we were served Italian-style fried fish, which were delicious and, above all, very light. Then came the excellent pizzas, although mine was unfortunately a little burnt on the bottom. Having been there several times, I can say that Ciarly is definitely a good place to eat not only excellent pizza but also great, authentic first courses. Here, I also ate the best bread I've ever had in a pizzeria/restaurant. So, Even though they never discount a single euro from our bill (an unpleasant detail), I definitely recommend it. Parking: Watch out for the parking attendants in the only available parking space: Viale Kennedy. Pay them only afterward, otherwise they'll pocket it and, as soon as you're out of sight, they'll speed off like a delivery man without even looking at your car.

Vinarium

25/12/2025: The Vinarium winery in Chiaia was a truly pleasant discovery during our stay in Naples. We were inspired the night before simply by walking past, thanks to the welcoming atmosphere and its convenient location near the hotel where we were staying. Since it's not a very large place, we decided to make a reservation, and it was an excellent choice. The atmosphere is refined and informal, intimate yet refined, with a wonderful selection of wines and attentive, knowledgeable service, always ready to offer advice and put guests at ease. From the appetizers to the first courses, everything was excellent: the artichoke I chose was simply amazing, while the tagliolini with crab was sublime, delicate, flavorful, and prepared with great care. A special thanks goes to the owner for his extraordinary kindness. During dinner, we had asked for the chocolate tart, but it wasn't ready yet; we were told that if we stopped by later, we would find it. So, at the end of the evening, before returning to the hotel, we returned... and not only did they have it ready, they even offered it to us. A gesture that speaks volumes about the care and passion they put into their work. Vinarium isn't just a place where you eat well and drink excellent wine, but a place where you feel truly welcomed. Highly recommended: an experience that combines quality, atmosphere, and humanity.
03/11/2025: Place was very busy but we were seated in the back. Server was very friendly and realised we struggled with Italian and switched to perfect English. Despite being very busy the server came over with the bottles of each wine we wanted a glass of and allowed us to taste before serving. The wine was a fresh bottle and needed to breathe and after it had done was delicious. Full of locals and a nice communal atmosphere with everyone having a good time.
