Ristorante Pizzeria Caruso In Bologna

Updated on October 31, 2025: Halloween night, table for 9, not even very crowded, stifling heat punctuated by brief gusts of cold, waitress fussing with orders, about a 50-minute wait for pizzas, prying glances to see if we could be patient a little longer. Very good pizzas with plenty of toppings! I'd say it was a memorable evening. January 24: Never tried a pizzeria before for a birthday dinner with friends, and a delightful discovery. Friendly staff and skilled and fast waitresses. The atmosphere was well-kept and well-maintained, even though there was very little space between tables (we were right against the outside window and barely fit under the table with our chairs). But above all, the pizza dough, flavor combinations, and quality of the ingredients were truly excellent. I really enjoyed my Benji pizza with burrata, dried tomatoes, fried zucchini, cooked ham, and chopped pistachios. There's no doubt they made it with love. I'm sure they put their heart into it, just look at the shape of my cornice!

Excellent pizza, top-quality ingredients. Nice location. Prices are a little higher than average.

Very good pizza, one of the best in town

Well, it's the best gluten-free pizza in Bologna, but that's just my opinion.

A well-maintained restaurant with a covered outdoor terrace. Available, friendly, and above all, very fast service. I especially recommend the pizza and seafood dishes. Certified gluten-free.

The gluten-free pizza was delicious, with a truly excellent and easily digestible dough. I had the vegan version, and it had some original and tasty combinations! Highly recommended, I'll definitely be back.
