The location is scenic, practically on the water, the place is old, the food quality isn't great, the service is average, and the prices are quite high considering what's on offer. The pizza isn't great, the food is nothing special. The place has been around for over 50 years, is very well-known, and often very crowded.

Excellent sea bream cooked with coarse salt over a wood fire

Went for a private event and was very happy with the very attentive staff and the seating inside (windy evening). Loved parts of the menu, sone weren't my taste, but others enjoyed them. Have to underline the mixed plate of cold cuts, the very tasty mussels and grilled orqta fish, fresh french fries and wine - my favs! All in all a nice evening for the private event!

On the beach, excellent grill but the first courses leave you a little disappointed

We went here twice after our first good experience…it wasn't the best idea. It's always worth making a reservation, as the place is always packed in the evenings, including with lots of locals. The fish is always good, but the meat and service depend heavily on the day 😅

The spaghetti was excellent but the fried fish was not good!

We ordered takeout pizzas. The 15-minute wait turned into 35. Very disorganized. The pizza was still good.

Right on the harbor. A wonderful ambiance in the evening. We had two excellent meals in the restaurant. Everything is authentically prepared in-house. It was very, very good. The prices are absolutely reasonable. The service is friendly and courteous. We were even able to camp in the restaurant's parking lot twice with our camper. Thank you so much for the great service.

Unfortunately, this is the weakest of the restaurants we've visited in Porto Pozzo so far. We arrived two days before at opening time and didn't get a table. There were no guests yet. However, they seemed to be looking for a reservation for another couple. When we asked if we could have the table reserved for 9:30, we were told it was reserved by the chef. After a bit of a wait, we finally reserved a table for two days later. The food, however, was nothing special. The grilled cheese appetizer was delicious. Spaghetti al pomodoro was reminiscent of Miraculi. The spaghetti al vongole wasn't outstanding, despite several intensive recommendations from two waiters. Our insalata mista was forgotten and only arrived when we asked for it. With the exception of two waiters, the service was rather rushed and unsure. Three stars is rather generous. Not really recommended for vegetarians.
