I was a guest two years ago for about two months in this hotel... you feel like one of the family... The kindness as well as the availability and friendliness of Mrs. Teresa and her niece are rare things to find in many establishments... they deserve much more... excellent food and always smiling and professional dining room staff... in fact I returned again this year and I confirm the previous reviews

26/05/2024: We stopped on our way back to Rome and decided to grab a quick bite to eat. The place is close to the highway so convenient. Simple, quiet and clean environment. The owner let us choose the table. I ate an appetizer of vegetables and cheeses, strengthened on their initiative, but still very welcome, with a fried egg and a tomato bruschetta. My husband and my son chose pizza. Both very good, especially the dough and well seasoned. We had a good time and will definitely return often. The low price.

04/09/2024: There were 4 of us yesterday eating at the refuge, 2 adults and 2 children, the children wanted pizza there aren't many alternatives but the refuge was certainly a good choice, as a Neapolitan and a baker and lover of pan pizza their pizza had a excellent dough and the products were really good, light crumbly, fresh ingredients... If I have to find a small flaw, perhaps a little slow service, the room was full, the management is family-run and they do what they can... Prices in the norm and honest, however well done and thank you
29/08/2024: We had just arrived in Barrea after a restaurant in the area didn't let us sit at two o'clock because it was late at 2pm we went to the refuge, everything was delicious and let's not talk about the kindness of the lady in the dining room.
