30/03/2026: An experience with some ups and downs; the location is very nice, on the new Torvaianica promenade, and the restaurant is beautiful and well-kept, featuring a splendid terrace overlooking the sea, perfect for summer aperitifs. I can't give it too high a rating because for every positive aspect, there are some negatives. I'm happy to list them because I'm convinced the restaurant is managed excellently and will take these considerations to heart. I'll go by points: the location is indeed very nice, and I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 because the service is sacrificed; that's not a key aspect, and in fact, 4/5 is fair. Food: the appetizers were really good and unique, but the seafood pasta and tiramisu seemed (for my taste) a bit standard; in short, I wouldn't go back and eat them again. Service: Very courteous. I asked for olive oil because I recognized some bottles from Frantoio Muraglia, where I also buy things. They brought us some samples, but the downside was the handling of an off-menu wine. Let me explain: the wine list includes almost all wines just under or over €30. We asked for a wine that wasn't available, and the waiter suggested an off-menu wine. We ordered a couple of bottles, and at the end of the bill, we saw that the bottles were a few euros over €40 each (I think €42 or €44). Now, for goodness sake, we probably should have asked, but if you're offering an off-menu wine in a small place in Torvaianica, bringing a bottle that's so priced compared to the average price isn't exactly polite. In short, it didn't seem like a good idea.
That's my analysis of the evening. I'd gladly return for a summer aperitif accompanied by some fried fish...
25/03/2026: Super positive experience. I live a few kilometers away and had never been there before, but I must say I discovered a very, very nice and good restaurant with equally good service. The outdoor area for aperitifs with a fantastic sea and beach view was fantastic. I ate inside and it was great! See you next time, Jonathan.
