Because this little restaurant is something special, I'd like to share some details! Friendliness! You can't describe it like that! The word here is warmth! Exceptional ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The food, for example! For starters, bread with olive oil and a crisp, fresh salad. The meat was perfectly cooked and flavored! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The drinks were very delicious; I've rarely had such delicious cocktails. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ The ambiance matches the location. The local guests are also simply fantastic ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I'm a passionate amateur cook and set the bar very high. As a food connoisseur and tester, it's very tight for the kitchen here. I give this little restaurant full marks! It's worth it for everyone. The second visit confirmed my first review! Result: Perfecto... The third visit. Unbelievable ❤️❤️❤️

Really nice place, really good food and super friendly staff! - You have to drive up the mountain a bit, and parking is tricky since you either have to find a spot next to the restaurant on the street, or you can try a free parking area just a few hundred meters away, but it is full most of the time. - The eaiting time can be a bit long, since there are not that many workers (at least at dinner time), but they are open during lunch as well which is pretty rare in the area. - If you like thin pizza or good italian pasta give the place a chance!

A hidden gem in the mountains! We loved it so much, we came back the next day. Every dish, from antipasti to pasta, soup, and pizza, was full of heart and flavor. What truly stayed with us was the warmth of the staff — so genuinely kind, smiling, and attentively thoughtful in every detail. The rock playlist was a lovely extra for us! Really, a beautiful, authentic place that touched our hearts. :)

In my opinion, a welcoming place, good pizza and service from the staff. They also make pizza at lunchtime, which is very rare based on my research.

Beautiful discovery in this little village. The food is really good. The cheese starter is superb as are the first courses with wild boar and roe deer. All excellent and really well done. We didn't have the second courses but the meat dishes that were displayed among the various tables were really inviting (to be returned to try). The lady who served us was very kind and nice. Good service. Excellent quality/price ratio.

We love coming here whenever we are around Benabbio. It'a small, family run restaurant with good regional food with some international staples. The sparkling white wine and gnocchi in a sweet cherry tomato sauce with a sprinkle of ricotta are something I still dream of and order repeatedly. This is not a fancy restaurant, rather a homey, straight forward place. The prices are affordable. The wait time is usually short. Unless it's a holiday or a day with a special menu (check their Facebook for upates), then I recommend booking a table in advance. The owners are wonderful people - very helpful and attentive. Giovanni's pizzas are one of a kind, with a crispy thin crust and you can watch him bake them in the oven. We especially recommend getting one with mascarpone as it balances all the textures beautifully. You can always ask Alessandra to help you pick a dish or if they have any specials, and you won't be dissapointed. There are also seasonal dishes based on fresh seafood or mushrooms depending on the time of year. Another must-try are their desserts and pasta fritta with cheese and prosciutto as an appetizer!
