The Restaurant is great! And the boss too! We were here more than 8 times. To improve: All people were smoking in the terrace, it’s not really friendly. The new waiter is very slow. We drank only water and he added us 6 alcoholic drinks. The rest is perfect. Thanks!

Excellent restaurant just steps from the center and the train station. I've tried both the pools and the food several times, with truly delicious seafood dishes. Friendly staff.

Very good address with excellent value for money. The wines are interesting and the selection is there. The cuisine is not revolutionary but it is a very good Italian family restaurant with good traditional products.

We had a very enjoyable dinner at Ristorante Pizzeria 45. The wait staff was enjoyable and we worked through the language barier pretty well. All of our meals were very good, from the seafood pasta, carbonara, and pizza. Even dessert of Panna Cotta and some aged grappa were good. Very good prices as well.

Niet gereserveerd kwamen wij aan met een groep van 10. De ober nam alle tijd voor ons en maakte een lange tafel vrij zodat we allemaal samen konden zitten. De menukaart was beschikbaar in meerdere talen en we werden vriendelijk geholpen. De pizza’s waren lekker, al hebben we elders wel eens nóg lekkerdere pizza’s gegeten. Glutenvrij eten kan hier uitstekend. Bedankt!

Cercavamo una pizza senza glutine e devo dire che non era male ma la base è quella già pronta di una nota marca. Comunque meglio di niente. Cucina con piatti molto abbondanti. Il servizio è molto caotico e distratto, occhio al conto che può contenere ordini doppi dovendo ordinare più volte la stessa cosa perché si dimenticavano di portarla…ma nel conto erano conteggiate tutte le volte. Il locale potrebbe essere carino ma è molto trascurato

Rifugio Monte Zeus

17/09/2025: We ate very well, the staff was super friendly, helpful, and accommodating. We relaxed and had a great time after a nice walk.
16/09/2025: Highly recommended! You do need a vehicle, but the valley is beautiful for spending a few peaceful days here. The price/performance ratio of the rifugio is worth 6 stars. It's simple, but everything is clean, there's a normal toilet and a squat toilet, and three showers in the shared bathroom that work perfectly. The hospitality of Silvia, Giorgio, Alessandro, and Lucian is unbeatable. Thanks again for being patient with me and my rudimentary Italian :-) English is always fine here, too. If the opportunity arises, I'd love to come back. It's also ideal for motorcyclists. A day trip via Simplon, Furka, and Gotthard, and back over the pass road from Locarno toward Domodossola through the town of Re with its impressive basilica, is strenuous but recommended.
