I'm giving it 3 stars for an overall review, not just for the individual experience (otherwise I would have given it much less!) Let me start by saying that we didn't stumble upon this place by accident, but we know the place well; we've been there over the years, and we know how the food is and how much it generally costs. That said: I understand why restaurants need to "go overboard" on prices for New Year's Eve dinner, but you were quite EMBARRASSING. When I booked, I specifically asked if there was only a set menu or an à la carte option, since we didn't want to spend a fortune. Once we arrived, however, surprise...for the à la carte menu, you MUST order a minimum of two courses per person, and at least you could have let them know! The tablecloths were completely paper (during the year, they use cloth tablecloths)...you've raised the prices on all the dishes on the menu throughout the year, and we know full well how much they normally cost, and they were even the same for the set menu! So no fancy dishes, just simple dishes like pasta with tomato sauce for €10 or gramigna with sausage for €18!!!??? You brought me a veal cutlet in wine, just tossed in its "sauce" without even two potatoes, for close to €18!!!!????? Aren't you ashamed?? You've definitely lost 8 customers without a doubt! Even if it won't change your life, given that you're known for the average age of your customers, which is 60-80.
